High price for lousy service
I had a voucher for a 4.5 "deep cleaning" with Good Steward. The person came for 3 hours and I would love to know her definition of "deep." Kitchen sink wasn't scrubbed, toilets weren't cleaned, glass door on the shower wasn't cleaned. Furniture was barely dusted. I called to complain and was told I was listed for a 3-hour routine cleaning, not the deep cleaning session I paid for. This scheduling "mistake" had to have been deliberate because I had a long conversation with the scheduler about the size of my house and whether the voucher would cover the amount of cleaning I wanted done. (The scheduler was very unpleasant.) Company would not refund the $24 overpayment because they said I paid through DealSwarm and had to get the refund from them. This is very convenient for Good Steward, because DealSwarm has been bought by a new company and the new owners won't fix problems related to vouchers from the former company. Good Steward did offer to send the same cleaning person back for 1.5 hours, but it wasn't worth my time to have more poor housecleaning service. Don't waste your money with this service.
