Caring and easygoing
I was nervous about finding a psychiatrist after moving to the area. I'm a "difficult patient", in that I had already tried three antidepressants that didn't work. It was very important to me to find a caring and easygoing psychiatrist who was willing to work with me and listen to what I had to say.
Dr. Suholet was the closest psychiatrist to my workplace who had a good review here, so I decided to give him a try. He is so kind and easygoing. He listened to me as I told him about my past medication experiences, asked what meds my mom had tried, and suggested where to go next. When that drug was only a partial success, he talked to me about how and when it helped, and how and when it didn't help before deciding what to try next. I'm almost due to go in for my 4 week check after adding the second medication he suggested, and for the first time in years, I am able to keep myself from spiraling into a deep depression when something "bad" happens. It seems like Dr. Suholet found a drug combination that works for me, and I am very greatful to him for it.
