After boarding our dogs at several different Kennels we finally settled on this one for several different reasons. The first is location. Connies K 9 Boarding Kennels is out in the county on a nicely wooded piece of land. I didn't want our dogs having to put up with the noise of traffic and the smell of exhaust fumes when they played outside. Secondly, the costs are very reasonable. Thirdly, we are able to board two of our dogs in one area together so we don't have to separate them. Fourthly, they're great at working around our hours. Connie will getup at 7am if necessary for us to drop our dogs off and will also stay up till 9pm (or sometimes later) so we can pick them up. Additional grooming services are available while their if you'd like to have your dog washed or have nails clipped, etc. All in all, this is a great place to board your animals!

Richland Animal Hospital is a very thorough clinic with up to date treatments and a newly expanded boarding kennel. Although their service is great I noticed that they often push unnecessary services on you. They also don't tell you any of the costs upfront and their costs seem to be more expensive than competitors in the area. That is the main reason I am no longer a customer. I was able to find much more reasonable rates elsewhere. I was also able to find someone who will ask before they give a shot or any other type of treatment and tell me the cost.

I have been very happy with the service me and my pets have received from Hickory Ridge Veterinary Service. Although it isn't brand new and is in a quaint country setting, that is no reason to shy away from this clinic. I have found the service to be excellent. I am always told what each shot/treatment will do, cost, and if it's really necessary. I am always given the option of accepting or declining a treatment instead of being pressured into a more expensive option. Unlike some other Veterinary clinics, Hickory Ridge does not try to sell you additional products like specialty food or a certain kind of treatment. They work with you to determine what works best for your animals. Their prices are very reasonable and they are great at working around my sometimes cramped schedule. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic!
