I would recommend!

I hired Metro Mechanical through Home Depot. I was very pleased with the knowledge of the sales person, and the helpfulness of the staff. Our new central heating and air system was put in when it was convenient for us. They arrived on time and finished within just 3-4 hours. The work at our house also involved replacing refrigerant lines. A supervisor did a quality control check about a week later, and did find one issue they needed to fix. It was something that would be a minor issue in the short term, but could be a major issue in the long-term. It was fixed promptly. I am impressed that they do quality checks on their own company, and the speed of the entire job. I had a very positive experience with Metro Mechanical and I would (and have) recommended them to friends. Our new heater is so efficient, I am just thrilled with our purchase.

Installed my water heater, I would recommend

These folks are fantastic....I have a strange situation in my house - it was built with a very small closet to surround the water heater. As a result, a lot of plumbing and valves are in the way, so not just anyone can handle the job. I called one company (I will review them too) and the tech quoted $1,186. Northlake did it beautifully and fantastically with a Rheem 40 gallon unit for $985 - including the expansion unit and getting it all up to Code. That's a $201 difference! It's not all about price though...they were really nice, explained all my options very well, and were able to come out and take care of it the same day! They know their stuff and were not put off by a challenging situation. They'll be the first ones I'll call in the future.

wonderful food, made to suit YOU

I needed Blu Culinary to prepare meals for my family for about a week in December. I needed basic meals that the entire family could enjoy. We enjoyed wonderful meals like Chicken Cordon Bleu with rice pilaf on the side. The Beef Stroganoff was AWESOME...I could have eaten my weight in that, let me tell you! Definitely call Blue Culinary Creations if you need catering for a special event or just to treat your family.

I called the Mr. Rooter at 770-234-2719 (www.mrrooteronline.com)...not sure if that is exactly the same as this one or not...needed a new hot water heater. They came out and quoted $1186 and wanted to take off the door frame and were not planning on putting the door frame back on! So I backed out of it and paid them the $29.95 'trip fee.' I called another plumbing company (see my reviews to locate them) and was pleased to have the job done the very same day for $985. That is a savings of over $200. Not small change in my book! It's not all about price though... The plumber I called also upgraded everything to code. I am giving Mr Rooter three stars because their phone support person was very good and the tech was polite and nice, but I was not filled with confidence that the tech knew what he was doing. Just be advised that these companies with the huge expensive Yellow Pages ads have to pay for those somehow, and it usually comes out of the consumer's pockets in higher costs for the same or better work done by someone else.

Good Service

I have dealt with Britt's in Snellville on several occasions and have been very pleased (I plan to review that location too). On the latest occasion, I visited the Britt's in Lawrenceville. They didn't let me down there either. A nice selection, but it's that the employees are SO knowledgeable, PLUS they always deliver when they SAY THEY WILL, or even before. You can count on them. I have recommended them to many friends.

looking for a dentist in gwinnett?

I really 'lucked into' finding Dr. Stearns and his staff. I used to work near their office and they would work me in during my lunchtime so I didn't miss work! That is just one example of how they go the extra mile for their clients. Even though there are many dentists near where I live and it's a bit of a drive to go to their office now, I still make the trip. Dr. Stearns and his staff have a great sense of humor and Dr. Stearns is a great Christian man who really 'walks the walk.' You will get practical quality care, he doesn't push procedures just to make a buck. As another reviewer said, Dr. Stearn's office has longterm employees. That in itself is a good sign that you are dealing with an honest office. UPDATE July 2006: Dr Stearns is retiring and I haven't been to Dr. LeCour.

His perfectionism could cost you

MAKE SURE you have this dentist do a pre-certification with your insurance company, so you will know for sure what your portion of the costs will be. This is not a priority with this office. Dr. Goodroe wants 'perfection' in his patient's mouths, which is generally a good thing, but not everyone needs perfection, most of us just need our mouths and teeth to be healthy. Some work recommended is just not a necessity, so just get a second opinion before getting major work done, and HAVE THAT PRECERTIFICATION DONE! I had TWO dentists who checked my mouth after Dr. Goodroe say they did not agree with what Dr. Goodroe said.

Fun place to eat

Excellent food, not just the pizza (I love their Caesar Salad). Their sandwiches are also quite tasty. Always fun and friendly service, our family always has fun there. The vibes are good :)
