Dogwood Landscaping, LLC.

Posted on: 12/13/2011

Above and Beyond

We asked Dogwood to bid on a landscaping job for sodding an entire side of our yard, plus build ground steps from the deck to the lower yard. We also had them draw up a master plan for the backyard, and helped talk us through how we could execute a phased approach. Jason is really fun to work with and provided a competitive bid without cutting corners. Their work is exemplary and I would recommend to anyone. Thanks Dogwood ... our lawn is realizing it's dream, too!

ATLANTA TREE SURGERY

Recommendation from Repeat Customer

We have used Atlanta Tree Surgery more than once now, and their quality, service and value is part of their ongoing operation ... not that "they were having a good day." Jason and his crew trimmed a number of very high branches on trees in our back yard to clear the second story roof of our house and to prepare for an addition, then they were out again today to trim back a tree that was growing too large and killing our grass in the front yard. Jason is very knowledgeable and provides additional information about our situation and opportunities we may not think of ... he doesn't just come in and scalp trees without knowing what he's doing. His crew members are very polite and work hard and leave the site clean. Our neighbors also engaged Atlanta Tree Surgery after the great service we received. We certainly recommend these guys and we will use them again. Keep up the good work!

DPS, Inc. Construction & Remodeling

A Rare Find Among General Contractors

When we first decided to undergo an extensive home addition project, we heard horror stories from folks whose general contractor experiences were disasters. What we found with DPS (discovered here on Kudzu.com) was exactly the opposite. By reading this review, we feel you have just stumbled onto one of Georgia’s top contractors. Words and phrases that describe DPS: integrity, accountable, dependable, quality job, great communications, and a genuine concern for the customer. DPS is big enough to handle just about any job, but small enough to work one-on-one with you so you don't feel like a folder in someone's truck. For a more expansive review of DPS and their work on our two-story addition, visit project607.blogspot.com. Two words of wisdom from our positive experience with DPS ... when you enter into a project with a general contractor, go into it with the sense of partnership. Working WITH your contractor results in a much more pleasant experience. Securing a contracting company like DPS who will meet you in the middle and is dedicated to achieving a balance between customer needs and running their business is like striking gold. Also, for large projects, be sure to build in time to periodically review the project expenses to date ... it can help drive decisions as you work through the stages in the project. DPS truly builds relationships with homeowners and we thoroughly enjoyed working with them! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Peek Design Group

Professional and personable ...

We engaged Peek Design to create architectural drawings for a new front porch and a rear two-story addition to our home. During our meetings with Dale and Lauren, they were very attentive to listen to our needs and provided exactly what we were looking for ... new structures that will look like part of the original home once completed and will meet the needs of our family and lifestyle for years to come. Our homeowners review board was highly impressed with our plans and approved our project very quickly. We would recommend Peek Design for any architectural needs.
