Great view and good food
The view from Il Fornaio is amazing and the food and ambiance is good. You'll pay for it, since you are in Del Mar, but its definitely worth going to.

Great view and good food
Pacifica has a great view overlooking the ocean, which is really nice on sunny afternoon. Food is good... not spectacular, but good. Had the ahi sandwich and it was good but not amazing.

Pretty good
Had a massage from here yesterday and really enjoyed it. The people were very nice and professional and it was a really relaxing environment. I went with my husband and got the couples side by side massage and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The prices arent bad, either, and they are great about getting you in since they have so many appointment times.

Possibly the worst bar on the AVE
Dont go here. Don't waste your precious time. Lame music, lame staff, and when I was living in the U-district there were constant fights here.

awesome!
I love this bar. During world cup soccer I literally spent 2 weeks solid here drinking and watching soccer. Great beers, great bartenders and great atmosphere.

I love this place
Flowers has great drinks, a very nice staff, wonderful ambiance and super tasty food. I like to drink here on a Friday night and come back in the morning for breakfast :)

Pretty good!
I went to Judy last weekend and just loved her! She is really friendly, fit me in at the last minute and gave me a great neck massage the other reviewers noticed. The haircut was a pretty good experience! I also had my brows waxed and that could have been better, but wasn't awful... I find that often people give you the quick wax and then you have to go home and tweeze to clean up what they left and that was definitely the case. Haircut was $45, bros were $15. I'll almost definitely go back.

Perfect dive
I love the alibi. The drinks aren't overpriced, the bartenders are super friendly and the clientele is generally pretty laid back. There are two pool tables and some video games for entertainment, and a patio out back for smoking. Alibi only takes cash, so make sure to bring. There is an ATM but it takes a lot of fees.

Super cheep and fun
Both times I've been to Nunu's somehow my bar tab has been quite a lot less than anticipated. I once paid only $21 for 7 drinks (cocktails!). Whether this is a fluke that happened on two different occasions or they just serve cheep drinks, Im not sure, but I will certainly be going again! The atmosphere is pretty chill, but there isn't a lot of stuff to do here other than drinks... no pool, darts, dancing... but definitely worth going to
