Great Vet

Dr. Berger and his staff are fantastic. I brought my dog in because she had been having a bout of diarrhea for the past few days and hadn’t been eating. My appointment was for 8:30 and, *gasp*, they actually saw us at 8:30 (compared to my last place, that's a huge improvement). The exam rooms are the nicest, non-vet feeling exam rooms I've ever been in and I don't think my dog even knew she was at the vet. ;) Dr. Berger sat right down on the floor with my dog and really made her comfortable while performing the exam. He did an excellent job explaining his rationale for ordering the tests he ordered and laying out his plan of treatment. Unlike many vets I've been to, where I never know how much everything is costing until I leave the exam room, PetWell was very up front about fees and provided estimates prior to performing all tests and procedures. There are probably cheaper vets out there, but compared to my last vet (Pets Are People Too), I felt like the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend PetWell and Dr. Berger to anyone looking for a vet, but particularly if you make use of Doguroo for boarding or daycare you should be taking advantage of the convenience of PetWell’s location and the great service they provide.

OK Cleaning -- Not on time if they show up at all

I called Covenant Maids and scheduled an appointment to get my house cleaned. The morning of the appointment (about the time they were supposed to be at my house), they called and said they had to move it to later in the day (after I had already rearranged my work schedule to be home) and then they were over two hours late from the new appointment time. Additionally, the rate quoted on the phone was not the rate they charged me. All in all, the cleaning job they did was pretty good. My house was a mess and they did a good job of dealing with the clutter, etc. I gave them the benefit of the doubt as far as the scheduling issues and scheduled another appointment for three -- four weeks later. The day before I called and confirmed that they were still coming, but they never showed up! I called and left a message asking them to call me back and they never did. I will not use them again. If you don't care about your cleaning service coming when they say they are coming, this is an OK service. If you actually have a life and day job and want to be able to plan your day, I would not recommend them.
