NG Turf

Highly recommend NGTurf for sod supplier!

Last month we decided put in a new back yard lawn and searched through all of the sod suppliers in the Atlanta area and decided to go with NGTurf for several reasons. 1- Great Customer Service, Sherri, Helen, Tom and Doug(Delivery). Super professional, ontime and a pleasure to do business with. 2- Great Zoyzia Sod, thick green and healthy. Thick cut sod with good strong roots. 3- Great warranty, the only one in the business who stands behind their product. 30-day no questions asked product replacement. We chose to do all the prep work and installation ourselves, but when we had a problem with some of the sod that was not cut well (due to recent storms) NGTurf replaced an entire pallet at no charge! So look no further than NGTurf for all of your Sod needs, you won't be sorry. We will be using them again when it comes time to replace the front yard. Thank you NGTurf!

Apollon Auto Repair

Affordable car care that's worth every penny

George and Tassos are AWESOME! My wife and I have been taking our cars to Apollon Auto Care for the past 4 years now and have never been disappointed with the quality and cost of services. We became loyal customers of these guys when one of our cars was needing a new starter. The Ford dealership wanted $400.00 for parts and labor to install a starter. I know how long it takes as I grew up working on cars, but at the time I was in a bind and couldn't do it myself. My wife found the shop on Kudzu and thought we would give them a chance, especially when we got a quote for the parts and labor for just $140.00! Dropped the car off and in just a few hours it was ready. We have 3 cars we take to them on a regular cycle for oil changes and yearly inspections. I am a hugh proponent of proactive services as I sell them in my own line of work in the IT Industry. So if you're looking for a car shop that won't break your bank, bring your car to George and Tassos. Be forewarned the place is not fancy and you won't have free wi-fi in the waiting area, but if you just want your car fixed and fixed right the first time, then this IS the place.

Anis Bistro

Bon Apertif! Mes Amis

Anis is an in-town gem of a restaurant that few people who live outside of I-285 will know of or venture to experience. The food is classic French Provincial style and a few of the dishes might sound intimidating to some, however trust me they are worth it. Anis is one of the only places in Atlanta where you can choose to bring your own bottles of wine and not pay a corking fee or get sneared at by the staff. The 3 friends who own Anis also own Patiste in Roswell, GA for those who live north of I-285 and do not want to venture into the city for dinner. Portions are great, not to much nor too little. Best dish my wife and I like are the Mussels in White Wine and Cream. Many a night we will stop by and order some with a bottle of wine and basket of bread and share them over conversation of our workday, whilst listening to live jazz trio or quartet on the patio. I suggest that you make reservations for your dining and can do so through www.restaurant.com as things do get busy many nights of the week. If you must wait for a table, grab a seat in the bar and order a martini and relax, it will still be worth the wait.

Kennesaw State University

Spring 2008 Graduate of KSU

I attended KSU from Spring 2005 until just this past May 2008 when I graduated with honors with a double major of Computer Science and Information Security. I am a Non-Traditional Student, in other words... I was 37 when I made a decision to return to college for an updated degree. The class sizes are usually limited to no more than 45 students, with most being around 35 when they begin. Yes, there are some classes of 100+ students, such as American Government, however this is NOT the case with most classes. While attending KSU I worked as a Student Teaching Assistant as well as a Student Mentor for several younger students. I was involved in several student organizations including ISSA and ABLE and found the student body to be well rounded and diversified. The student body consists of students from more than 140 countries and the faculty nearly as many. If you are looking a 'Party' school KSU is not the place as there are very few on campus living students due to the nature of the campus. KSU has been a commuter school for many years but this is slowly changing. If you are looking for a state university where you can learn and grow... KSU should be at the top of your list.

Axiom Salon For Men

Great salon for mens haircut

I have been a client of stylist John for nearly 3 years now. John is great, kind and considerate and treats his clients to great haircuts every time. I found the shop while visiting a local bookshop in midtown. My stylist of the past 7 years was relocating to Palm Springs so I needed to find a new place. I tried out Axiom for my next cut and I was SOLD! The price is great and service impeccable. Yes, the wait can be long some times, however if you get there first thing when they open at 10am (M-F) or 9am on Saturday, this is best. Try not to go to the salon during peak times like right after work or before the weekend (Friday), if you do, be ready to wait. But the wait is worth it. Keep it up guys!
