Gutter Installation Just Isn't Happening

Taylor Construction is slick. They made a very impressive presentation in my home for gutter installation. The sales guy even put me in the phone with his manager because they wanted to put us in front of others and get our gutters installed before we went on vacation in a few weeks. Manager even said he could get in done within 7 days. That didn't happen. Finally got a call from a guy who said he was the installer and wanted to put my gutters on while we were on vacation. I advised them that no way was I going to allow them to do that so we agreed on a Saturday for them to come out and install. A few minutes before they were to be on site, the installed called and said his crew had called off the job and that he would come Monday and install. Our Saturday was ruined because of putting plans on hold for the install. Monday morning rolls around and the installer calls and said that due to rain he couldn't install. I wouldn't expect them to install in the rain but there was no rain, sun was shining ironically. The guy is very unprofessional. I don't even know his name. He may have said it but I didn't catch it. Bottom line to me is that Taylor Construction has taken almost $2,000 as a deposit and I have no gutters. Michael Boerstler

Careful of the Overcharge!!!!

The moving crew was great, no problems with them at all. They completed the move in a timely manner. When it came time to sign off on the charge amount, the supervisor, WITHOUT any prompting from me, told me he was removing the charge for insurance ($222) because there were no damages. "Why should you pay for something you don't need." I initialed the bill next to his name. Lo and behold, the company assessed the charges anyway. I worked with my representative and she said she would research and respond that day. (No Response)Two days later I emailed for an update(Still No Response). The following day I called and was told that my claim was forwarded to operations, BUT, they felt it was unlikely their supervisor made such an adjustment. After another day, I had yet to hear from the operations manager. I signed a charge slip for a specific amount for my account to be debited. They charged $222 more. To the credit of Mr. Christensen, apology accepted. Thank you for resolving this issue.
