Insurance company Scammers- Beware!
Ranger roofing are stormchasers... beware! They will rip you off!!!
Two days after Hurricane Ike, Ranger Roofing was in our neighborhood patching roofs for families with roof damage. In order to have them patch the roof, we "only" had to sign a contract stating they were allowed to deal with our insurance company to receive funding for a totally new roof. A week later, when asked for an estimate to fix the roof, Ranger Roofing quoted us $9800. When asked for an official written estimate, they refused to give us one. Interestingly, they quoted a neighbor with the exact same floor plan and roof $8000. When asked about the discrepancy, they replied that we were to tell our insurance agent the roof would cost $9800 to replace, but they would charge us only $8000. This was never stated in the original conversation. We decided it was an insurance scam and went with another company who charged us only a fraction of that price. Ranger roofing clearly conducts dishonest business practices and lies. We never agreed on a price for the roof, and yesterday we received a bill in the mail from them for $13,399.31. For what? They are trying to collect a debt that's not owed. They have pulled similar scams on our neighbors as well. These people should not be allowed to conduct business. DO NOT USE THEM, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

Their game is going from town to town, taking advantage of people, and "running away" when they are done. BEWARE!!!
