Ultimately they got it right
I am updating a previous review in which I received terrible customer service. However I must say that I was impressed with the fact that I was contacted by an Ackerman executive and he quickly issued a refund of a bad product. My only disappointment is that I previously talked with two supervisors and my sales rep and I couldn't get the same outcome. Although I do believe great customer service is a thing of the past, I must commend Ackerman for ultimately doing the right thing. They have certainly reaffirmed my initial reason for going with them in the first place and that was to support a local company. I am also reassurred by the fact that they at least care enough to look at these review sites and respond accordingly. Again, more than you would probably get from most companies. All in all, I am satisfied with the end result and will stay with Ackerman as my security company.
