Good guys, good job

I've used Thrasher for a couple of years and they always do a good job. This time Jim came out and ran an antenna from my attic down to all my TVs so I can get over the air HD and skip a cable bill. He was really friendly, quick and thorough and now I can get 40 channels.

Milton Heating & Air LLC

Not so hot

I used to like Milton but today they either ripped me off or are incompetent (or both). My wife had them come for a spring service for the A/C unit they installed 2 years ago. Now the A/C was installed at a good price and has a 10 year parts and labor warranty. The tech says the unit is low on freon and charges $70 for a pound. He doesn't do a leak check and makes no effort whatsoever to find the leak. This is pretty dumb because a proper A/C doesn't just leak freon. If there's a problem it needs to be fixed (and that would be covered under warranty). So either they ripped me off by charging for a pound of freon I don't need or they don't know that they need to find the leak before filling it with freon. Good luck getting a better experience.

Not so hot

I used this company for a year. Their customer service was really nice and always responsive but my results were mixed. I kept getting weeds throughout the year. Each time I called, they would send someone out to spot treat, but I kept getting weeds between each treatment. They never let me know when it was time to seed and aerate. When I asked customer service they said I had to explictly request these services. With a lawn care service I expect to be notified when it is time to seed/aerate to keep a healthy lawn. The straw that broke the camel's back was my yard got spots of grubs. Simply Green only noticed this on the third visit. They are a bit more affordable than other services, but I wasn't happy with their work.

German Car Repair Inc

Rare quality

I took my A3 in for service after calling around for prices. They were $100 cheaper than other shops and $200 cheaper than the dealers so I was a bit suspicious. After checking their ratings online I took my car in. The service was great, they explained everything, didn't try to upsell me. They also stayed open late so I could pick up on a Friday night. The staff I spoke with were knowledgeable and had a long history of driving and working on German cars (specifically BMW). I'll definitely be taking my car back.

Short's Service

Great service

Ken was able to come out on a Saturday and fix our broken KitchenAid refrigerator in less than 45 minutes. He saved us from having to wait until Monday to get our refrigerator running again.
