Seemed good at first, but then no showed twice!
Called Joe & he came over right away the same day & spent lots of time doing an estimate. He didn't tell me in advance that there would be a charge just for the estimate - but it happened that he ended up fixing a light during the estimate process, so I was ok with paying the $50...even though he didn't tell me about the charge until after he had spent over an hour evaluating the systems. However, he seemed like a nice, trustworthy guy & I thought his rates were reasonable. He had come the same day I called for an estimate & he indicated he would be avaiable easily for the actual work. Called him up later in the week asking him to do the other work he had given an estimate for & we set a date & time. I called him b/c he never showed up but had to leave a message. He never returned my call, so I called him the following day & was told that he didn't show up b/c he had mechanical issues with his truck the day before. I was disappointed that there wasn't even a call to notify me he wouldn't show up. But, still rescheduled to the following week, giving him the benefit of the doubt. Time for that appointment & again, he didn't show up & no call. I didn't even bother calling again to see why he didn't show up. I ended up calling a different electrician who did the work quickly & showed up exactly on time!
