All City Septic

Posted on: 8/15/2011

No complaints here

I had All City Septic come out and quote me for some work after I called Aames to have some work done on my septic system. Aames gave me a quote for over $6k and All City told me $4k. Hoping that I wasn't going to regret this in the future I hired All city and although I had to deal with some delays (this is a really small business) they finished the job and did a great job. I had a couple other quotes from other companies and all city has consistently been at least 2-3x lower. If the work was that much worse that wouldn't be worth it but I've realized these guys don't add on an extra $2k just because we live in Atlanta. Fully recommend!!

The Pink Plumber

Good but expensive!

To be fair the work they've done for me has been good. The problem is how they gouge on price. I called them out to pump my septic tank for $195 but after the nickel and diming the total came to $255 (really, $35 just to use a 10' longer hose??) While they were digging the dirt they cracked the lid to the tank and I was charged $800 for a replacement lid! I had another local septic company come out a few days later to get a quote and told them about the lid and they told me they could've had the same thing installed for $200. 2 years ago they quoted me over $6k for some work that I got done for $4k by another company. They told me that I needed to replace my mainline into the tank and quoted me $2800 to do it if it's just dirt - cutting concrete would bring it up to $3570. I called All City and they told me $500 up to the concrete and then it would go up from there, but after looking at the main line they told me it doesn't even need replacement! They snaked the line and the water started flowing like normal. $125 fix versus $2800 unneeded fix. I want to like Aames but their pricing is out of this world.

Overbilling doesn't seem to phase this office

I was a patient for a couple of years at this office until a billing dispute forced me to leave. They billed for a procedure twice and then did not honor their PPO discount agreement. Dr. Hargrove does great work - but watch what you are billed for like a hawk. The worst part is that even when I tried to get the matter resolved they kept telling me that they "would look into it" and then just never get back to me. Absolutely the worst billing experience I have ever had with a company...will NOT recommend this office to anyone else.

Funtime Bowling

Overcharged!

Went bowling with a group and bowled 3 games a piece with my girlfriend (so, 6 total). When we went up to pay they claimed that I played 6 games and she played 7. After trying to explain that this wasn't possible we had them print out the bowlers on each lane and it clearly showed that we had only played 3 games a piece. Regardless of this they refused to budge since the computer displayed a different game total. They would not return our IDs until the total was paid. Beware if you go to play multiple games.. they add on extra games and then if you argue call their hired police security to threaten to throw you in jail. Will not return here again!
