Little Hugs Preschool posted on 2/6/2014
Hidden Jewel in SSF..You will love Little Hugs
Little Hugs Preschool is the hidden jewel in South San Francisco. If I could give IT 100 stars, I would . My daughter attended LHP from 2004 to 2006. Our best memories of her early years, occurred at Little Hugs. Now my daughter is a 12 years old 7th Grade Honors Student getting ready to take the ACT test this Saturday. She was invited by Duke University's Talent Identification Program [DUKE TIP] to take the test. My wife and I are very proud of our daughter's accomplishment of getting invited to take this test. We believe that our daughter's education and experiences at Little Hugs provided the foundation for her to develop the confidence to grow academically after she graduated from Little Hugs. It was a privilege to have our daughter attend Little Hugs and be a part of the LHP family. We have a lot of cherished memories that we will always treasure. My daughter on her Little Hugs graduation video said that she wanted to be a Computer Princess after singing the song, "Had a Bad Day." I still have that DVD. It's Priceless. Little Hugs has a website and a Facebook Page. Go take a look. I guarantee that if you go to Little Hugs, check out the school, talk with Ms. Marilyn and Ms. Grace, give them a chance, you will fall in love with the school and will never look back as you get to enjoy your child's experiences at LHP together.

Garage Door Services, Inc. posted on 1/2/2014
Honest, Fair Price, Very Professional, and Fast...
Right Torsion Spring on Garage Door broke New Years Day. I was going to attempt to DIY after looking at YouTube video. The springs cost over $120 online and have to be shipped, plus $10 for the tension rods. I Googled the cost of doing the work. People said that they were paying $200-240. I found Garage Door Services on Kudzu. I called them at 2pm. They quoted a good fair price, lower than what I expected. Nolan showed up at 3pm. He noticed that the broken right spring was smaller than the left spring. It appeared that the Builder cut corners when they installed the garage door 7 years ago. Nolan brought two identically sized springs that were beefier than the original. He was fast and knew what he was doing. He had it done in under an hour. He sprayed lubricant on the new springs, tightened the belt tension, and re-adjusted the upper and lower limits of the garage door opener. Nolan was very professional and took pride in his work and in representing the family run business. It is family run with his father and brother. I paid Nolan for his work, which was the quoted price. I told Nolan that I would recommend him to anybody in our subdivision. Thanks Nolan. BTW, I had called three other Garage Door repair vendors. All of them answered with voicemail. I left them a message. None of them called back. One of them authored the DIY YouTube video.

Liberty Automotive Service posted on 3/12/2009
5-Star Customer Service.
Liberty replaced my alternator on Feb 6 and provided a lifetime warranty on the alternator and a one year labor warranty. To read review, Google search liberty automotive 30040 and click on Steve review. Yesterday, my Brake and Battery light came on again. I called Mark at Liberty Automotive. He told me to bring in the truck and he would look at it. I took it there this morning. Without hesitation, he said that he would honor the labor and parts warranty. In the afternoon, I went to pick up the truck. He handed me the keys and said that there was no charge. The alternator had a bad diode and was fixed. I shook his hand and thanked him for fixing the truck and for his honest professional customer service ethics. I told him that his service was better than most 4 star hotels, and he could teach other businesses a thing or two about customer service in this age of customer no-service. Nowadays, people are spending more money fixing their current vehicles instead of purchasing a newer one. This has increased the number of people shopping around for non-dealer automotive repair facilities to perform major and minor auto repairs. When I shopped around, my criteria was Trust, Quality, and Price. Liberty excelled in all three areas. They definitely earned my future business and my word of mouth. At end of March, Liberty Automotive is moving to 2628 Bethelview Road near Canton Hwy.
