Southlake Eye Clinic

Posted on: 2/26/2007

Totally unprofessional and not helpful!!!!!!!!!!

I am through with the Southlake Eye Clinic! If it were the only eye clinic south of Atlanta, I would not use them. The staff is unfriendly and totally unprofessional! They offer no help selecting eye glasses and just point you to the thousand pairs on display! The woman who fits the glasses has an extremely bad attitude! Even though their hours say they open at 8:30 am, not once in my half dozen visits, have they opened the doors on time. They usually open about 15 minutes late and even then, you have to wait for others to arrive. The staff strolls in at their convience with no regards to customers waiting outside in the rain and the cold!In my opinion, if the staff can't get to work on time, they will also be unprofessional in other areas! Someone needs to run a tighter ship!

Great Service

My 5 year old G.E. hot water heater died and JD Rooter came out to my house totake a look at it. When it was determined that it was a weld on the hot water heater, G.E. gave me the authorization to take it back to Home Depot for exchange.(Since it had a 12 year warrantee.) JD Rooter drained the 50 gallons of water from the heater, loaded it up in their van and took it to Home Depot where it took 1.5 hours for an exchange, (Home Depot sucks, but that is another story and rating!) JD Rooter stayed with me at Home Depot the entire time, picked out the new water heater, loaded it up and carried it back to my house where they installed it. My bill was reasonable and they left the no mess!My utility room was probaby cleaner than when they found it! What was a very agravating day for me was made much more better by J.D. Rooter. I've used their service several times over the past 20 years and they've always been dependable and honest.

Home Depot

Incompetent and rude

Over the past 20 years we've been faithful customers of Home Depot. I can only rate the MT. Zion store, since that is the only store I have been a customer. My 5 year old hot water heater died yesterday. It had a 12 year warrantee, so I had to return it to the Mt. Zion Store per G.E.'s instructions. At Home Depot, I was informed that I could not receive a authorization for a return untill the people at G.E. (Located in Alabama) returned from their lunch, Which meant that I would have to wait an hour! I had two plumbers with me who were on the clock, so I asked if I could just purchase another hot water heater and come back later for the amount that was owed me on the pro-rating. A department manager was called to help me and he was very rude and informed me I could only receive a store credit! I have to say this "gentleman" was not helpful at all and even had an attitude with my plumber who was extremely nice to him! The department manager had an attitude like...Too bad lady....go f youself! It finally took 1.5 hours to get my new hot water heater and leave the store! I will never enter a Home Depot again. There is a Lowe's about a mile from me and they will have my business for now on! The only nice thing I can say about my experience at the crappy Mt. Zion Home Depot is that the woman in Returns was extremely nice and apologetic! They should make her a department manager and give the rude guy his walking papers!

Carter's Cleaners

Dissapointed in customer service

After using Carter's cleaner for 30 plus years, (Parents and grandparents were also customers) I've recently decided to find a new dry cleaner. Carter's Cleaners misplaced a very expensive dress that I had purchased for a Christmas Party. Although the dress was eventually found, It was not ready when it was promised and I had to do all the leg work in trying to locate it. I wasted two hours of my time, still paid the bill and didn't even receive a apology for my time lost and stress! I found the attitude of the owner and the staff very unconcerned. More than just the time and effort on my part to locate the dress, the owner's attitude seemed to be, "Well, the dress was eventually found, so what is the big deal"? This was not the only problem that I've had with Carter's over the years. Another time, my clothes were sent to the Stockbridge location by error causing me to have to drive miles farther to pick up my clothes, using my time and gasoline! Another time, a jacket zipper was ruined. Losing my dress was the straw that broke the camel's back! I prefer to use businesses that truly care about good customer relations!
