Won't go anyplace else
Vet: Dr. King
We had to make the sad decision to euthanize a dog of ours that had become unpredictable and aggressive (unprovoked). Our regular Vet had passed away a few months earlier, and so I made three phone calls about euthanizing our 48 lbs dog:
Vet # 1: "It will be $285 plus an office visit fee."
Vet # 2: rude lady: "We will NOT euthanize him if he comes in here all happy!" (though I had proof of a bite history)
Vet # 2: (AH of Towne Lake) "I am so sorry to hear that. We can schedule that for you and help you out."
The staff on the phone (Marissa) was more than helpful and sympathetic. The day of his euthanization, we came in, and, again, were greeted by kind and caring staff members who showed us to an exam room.
They took the time to lay out a comforter for us so our dog wouldn't be euthanized on a cold, steel table, and we met the Vet (Dr. King). She was very understanding after we explained the situation, the routes we had taken, as she had a similar dog in her past. She nailed the symptoms and tell-tale signs on the head.
Dr. King was VERY nice as was her Vet Tech. They gave us plenty of alone time with our dog, and after bawling like a baby, the Vet Tech patted our backs and was genuinely sympathetic.
I could not have asked for a better Vet or a more understanding staff.
Because of this (and the reasonable cost), we will not use another Vet and have made them our primary Vet for our other dog.

OKAY but won't return
Okay Vets, but I won't return. I had first become a client of theres a few years ago. I loved the Vet that helped us....then. It seems that things have changed: pricing has risen, and the service has declined. We asked for annual vaccinations and preventatives only to be contacted a few weeks later for "booster" shots on the vaccinations we were told were annual. It shouldn't cost close to $175 to get basic annual vaccinations on a dog (no other services performed - have the bills showing such).
Clean Vet office and would trust my animal's safety with them, but price increase, and not the most personable staff.
