Once they get you in, they try to test you
I received a coupon for a $9.99 oil change on my 2001 Camry. I have always done all the work on my car. Of course before my car was given back to me, the service manager comes out with a long list of recommended services. 3 of the 4 recommended service, I had already done a few months back. First one was changing the drive belts. You could see that the belts were new, who were they kidding? Second recommendation was a new battery, there was a big sticker with a 9/2011 installed on the battery...hmmmm could they have missed that as well? Third was to rotate tires....are they kidding, I get my tires at wal-mart with life time rotation and balance? If I had taken their services, my 10 buck oil change would have turned out to be over $300 in services that I didn't need. Do they think we all have "sucker" written on our foreheads? They must really think we're stupid. I didn't argue, I told them I would be back at a later time. After getting my car back, I double checked everything to make sure they didn't sabotage my car. The oil and filter were changed, but my battery cable was loose. Luckily, I had my trusty tool kit and fixed that right away.

Beware, not honest.
This shop seems like a decent place to service your car. I had this guy do some work on my car and he did a decent job with reasonable rate. However, he loosen one of my fuses just so ever so that it would eventually work loose. I was driving a few days later and the car stalled. Luckily I know a little about cars and pushed all my fuses in tight and double checked the battery connections. I know for a fact he did this, the car had been running great for 9 years and never went into the shop. I did all my own work, the one time I took it to him, this occurs. This guy is not honest. I would stay away. If I had not known what to do, I would have been stuck and probably been suckered for another repair. BTW, after tightening the fuse, the car has been 15K miles with no problems.

6 window minimum - beware!
The prices seem reasonable and reviews seem good, but what if you only need one window fixed? I understand that there is an economic balance you have to meet and monies need to be made, but don't forget the small repairs for the common man. She didn't even have the decency to refer someone else. Medium sized company, but acts like a big company. I will remember you guys in the future when i need a job done and you won't get my business.

Downhill Service
This company started out great, we've had them about 8 years with very inexpensive monitoring, but as of lately, you will notice a extra $2 a month charge which still only makes it $6.95 a month. Also if you ever have to call in for a problem, you will notice incompetent customer service. It may take you weeks to get an appointment and the staffing knowledge is very poor. Since i purchased my entire system from them, i will stay until they raise their prices. Otherwise, if you want a cheap system but no support or reassurance of service in the future, this is the system for you.
