Bennett Piano Tuning & Moving

Not Recommended - Dropped Our Piano

Bennett picked up our baby grand piano to store while we had new hardwood floors installed. They delivered it back to our house and during the delivery they dropped it on our new floor, damaging the piano, the piano bench, a harp that was sitting nearby, and of course damaging our new floor. It's now almost 2 months later and we still don't have any of the damage repaired. I called them (they were very curt on the phone) and have written them with no response. It's an almost unbelievable situation. I would not recommend this company to anyone. UPDATE -- JANUARY, 2014. . . . Still no contact, have to pay for repairs myself. As of 1/31/14, the Better Business Bureau has assigned a grade of "F" to this company. I really made a mistake using Bennett to move my piano.

Aaron Plumbing, Heating and Air

Great plumber

Another excellent report for Aaron Plumbing, and they deserve it. Jim installed a hot water heater for us on 11/22/11 and did an excellent job. He had given us an estimate several days earlier (this was not an emergency job) and we called him back to do the installation. Great work, everything was cleaned up and in good order when he left, and -- the job was completed exactly per the estimate, down to the penney -- no add-ons for tax, parts, etc. This is a very high quality company and their reputation is well deserved.

Very Good Experience -- Then Turned Sour

DeckSouth did the demolition of our old deck and built a new deck. I would recommend them to anyone. Very professional, high quality, and they really know their business. I paid a little more to use them, but it's the old adage, "you get what you pay for." You definitely get your money's worth from DeckSouth. Update - January, 2011 -- after experiencing problems with the deck, I had a lot of difficulty in getting phone calls returned and emails answered. I've been trying to get this resolved since October, 2010 -- that's 3 months. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Don't know what else to do. I guess the higher cost I paid wasn't worth it after all ........... Update -- As of March, 2011 the problems were fixed and the deck is now satisfactory.
