Fast work

We had a new roof put on a couple of months ago. They were a little more expensive than other estimates we got but the sales pitch was very nice. They had everything listed out and looks to be a well made product. However one of the list items was cleanup. For a few days after the roof was put on, we found nails in our yard. I wasn't overly concerned because they had finished the job in one day and when they were done it was dark. However I do have kids and a dog and didn't want them stepping on them. The reason I decided to finally write my review is because just this weekend (due probably to the hard winds) an unused set of nails (that go in a nail gun) was in my yard. Luckily the sharp side was in the ground. Ron did contact us to let us know they will be coming out to check for anything else. We appreciate the fact that Superior Roofing is concerned about any problems and their willingness to resolve them.

Great job

We called Archway a couple of weeks ago to fix a problem with our chimney that had caused problems in one of our upstairs rooms (which would require them to tear out the old dry-wall and replace it as well as fixing some problem siding). Dan came out the next day to do the estimate and told us he would email us within a few days. We ok-ed the estimate and they wrote up a contract. Just two weeks after Dan came out, the workers were here and fixed the problem in two days (they finished yesterday). The work was great and they even found a small problem on our roof that they fixed for a small additional cost. We will definitely use Archway again!

Good practice

They have pros and cons. They are a very busy practice. I've waited an hour and half before for an appointment. I don't remember what the circumstances were but it was very frustrating. Then I actually had to wait in the COLD room with only the paper top and sheet for another 30 minutes for the doctor to come see me. However, as far as the doctors and nurse practitioners go, they are very nice and seem to be very knowledgeable. Once you get to see them, it's a great practice.

Lack of Communication

I had a previous review here where I talked about how it took a long time before we could get our project started. The work has finally been completed. While the work looks to be done well, there were some problems. Most of this had to do with the lack of communication from AC. As I stated before, it took a long time for us to get this project started. It took a while before we could get our estimate and this required us calling several times to the company as well as the contractor before we got the estimate in writing. Once we got a date to start service, we were told that work would start on a Tuesday, but it didn't actually begin until Wednesday. When the workers were here it looked like things moved pretty quickly and the work looked good. They even came in on the day that it snowed in Atlanta even though it was very cold out. However our project required painting on the outside and inside. We were told it had to be above freezing in order for them to paint outside so they said they would be back on a Tuesday. However when no workers showed up on Tuesday, my husband had to call and was told that "above freezing" actually meant 50 degrees and that the worker had gone out of town. A phone call Monday night would have been nice since my husband had been working at home so he could be there for the workers.
