Sam Electrical Services & Repairs

Worst electrician ever

Hired this guy for a large full house rewire job. He had no idea what the current codes were, and he subcontracted out the work to another electrician without my knowledge. Had to fire him after 2 weeks and hire another competent electrician. The new electrician had to take out everything that he did and redo it because nothing he did was right.

Colonial Homes Apartments

Stay away from this place

At first, I thought the location and price were a good deal until I moved in. This complex lures you in with a good price and then tacks on a water and gas bill to heat the boilers that is outrageous (over $100 per month). That is on top of your regular gas bill for heat in your apartment. From the first week I moved in, there was a strong smell of marijuana coming from one of the other nearby apartments (for some reason the ventilation system in the apartments are tied together). I notified the staff right away about this and they have never done anything about the problem and don't seem to care. Dog owners constantly let their dogs defecate on the grounds without picking it up and there is no recourse. The pool which was supposed to be opened up on Memorial day was not open until after July 4th. The owners seem much more concerned about their new construction project on the property than they are about the current paying residents. And construction truck run constantly through the property all day long starting bright and early at 8 am. Keep away from this property. There are certainly better alternatives.

Locksmiths Atlanta - GA

Never use this company!!!

Found this locksmith with a web search when I got locked out of my house. Took 30 minutes for the guy to show up. Gave me an estimate of $125 to open the lock (which I thought was kind of high, but I needed to get in my house). Took less than 5 minutes to get the lock open, then wanted to charge me $250 for the job and argued with me for another 15 minutes when I refused. Settled on $160 to get him out of my hair, but I really feel like I got cheated by these guys. Don't make the same mistake!!!!!

OBT Electric, Inc.

Great value for an electrician

I bought a home foreclosure a few months ago, and after I closed on the house found out that the electricity in the house was not finished and not permitted by the city, therefore I could not get the power turned on or move into the house. I called one electrician who gave me a quote of $4500 for the job, which I though was outrageous. Matt from OBT was recommended by a friend, so I called him, and he ended up doing the job for $2155. He spent several days in the summer time in an attic that was probably 120 degrees or more to do the work. He worked with the city permit inspector to make sure that everything checked out right and got approved so I could move into my new home. Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable, and most of all, reasonably priced for a profession that is traditionally exceptionally expensive. I would definitely use OBT again to do more work.
