These Guys Are Great!
Someone else wrote that the doorbell rang at 830 am and there stood Ronny and his team. Well, when the doorbell rang I looked at my watch and it said precisely ’08:30’! We had Bertolli Floors install exotic Brazilian teak throughout our entire first level. It turned out to be gorgeous and the work was done with meticulous attention to detail, including shoe moldings, picture framing around the fireplace, and insuring that all doors fit properly. Ronny and his crew work incredibly fast. They are like a ‘well-oiled’ machine and boy do they work hard. They obviously take pride in their work. We really enjoyed working with Bruno Bertolli also. He was extremely prompt, friendly, and courteous in meeting with us and responding to all of our requests. We got a number of estimates, visited showrooms, etc. Some were lower priced, some were higher priced. However, Bruno and his brother Philip did the most complete and thorough job of inspecting our sub-floor conditions (underneath the carpeting and parquet flooring). They spent quite a bit of time examining our current floor conditions. Their description of our sub-flooring needs was perfectly accurate. They gave a very detailed proposal estimate. Their price was among the lower prices we received. In our opinion it was very fair. We especially appreciate that Bruno and Ronny did everything precisely on the schedule agreed to: no delays, no hassles, no excuses. So we say ‘bravo’ to ‘the boys from Brazil’!

Don't Waste Your Time
We signed a contract with Carlos in November for hardwood flooring. We met with him twice at our house, once at his showroom, and spoke several times on the phone. He is EXTREMELY difficult to contact on the phone. Many times he NEVER returned our calls. He promised us at least three times that the job would be done before Christmas. We spent ten hours one weekend moving all of the small furniture so that this would be complete in advance. It took us another ten hours to put all of this back. Carlos missed the delivery schedule for our flooring on FIVE occasions. Each time there was a different excuse about what happened. We made appointments—and Carlos NEVER showed up. We made an appointment to meet at his showroom one day—and found the place closed for the entire day! The ONLY thing Carlos did promptly was charge our credit card—up front—almost $4000 for the materials. We never saw even one piece of the flooring. Finally, after missing every delivery date and failing to follow-through or even give us the courtesy of an explanation—Carlos simply cancelled our contract and refunded the money. Carlos did not call to discuss this with us—he just decided to cancel and took the easy way out and sent an e-mail. Even if he had completed the job—how would we contact him if there were ever a problem with the ‘lifetime’ warranty?
