decent but overpriced instruction
When we first moved to the area, I signed my daughter up for piano lessons with Metro Music Makers. While we didn't have any complaints necessarily about the quality of instruction, we have since found a much less expensive instructor who is just as good, if not better! For us, the in-home service seemed like a convenient feature at first. But we quickly realized that it forced someone to be at home during the lessons (mostly me) when I could have been running errands. Also, depending on the set up of your house, the noise may be a disruption to the rest of the household.
Ultimately we found it more economical to eliminate the middle man, and in this economy every little bit helps!
