So bad that the police had to get involved!

On 30th day of job that was supposed to take 10 or 11 days, the police had to convince Ramon, Reginald and Angela Rushing to leave and not return, since they refused to fix their screw-ups, but demanded payment in full (they'd already been paid most of money). The water pipe to my shower is swinging freely behind the wall, so the tub spout fell off the wiggly pipe. I have warm water, but not hot. Shower doors were installed facing wrong way (per stickers left on glass) to hide huge scratches in decorative chrome trim. A one-square-foot piece of the new shower enclosure was MELTED when a heat gun was used to speed drying of drywall mud (and then the Rushings tried to hide the damage by strategically hanging towels/rags to block my view. Finish of enclosure was destroyed when Ramon cleaned it with paint thinner(not that it matters after the heat gun disaster) . Flooring warranty was invalidated when planks were installed improperly and had to be reinstalled twice. There are gaps in trim moulding, dents in drywall, drywall tape is visible all over room. Ramon threw old toilet out window and broke outdoor faucet off wall. Angela Rushing (Ramon's wife and an unexplained presence in my house during this project) owns a "talent agency" called Sugar and Spice, a name you may recognize from a glowing review. I'd recommend Googling the names of these people before letting them into your home. Had I done that, I wouldn't be spending the summer repairing their hideous work.

Carey Paul Honda

Most obnoxious dealership in history

When I was in the market for a new car, I stopped at Carey Paul Honda almost on a whim, since I was leaning toward Toyota because my previous Toyota had served me faithfully for 14 years and was still going strong for its new owner. Before committing, though, I wanted to test drive the Honda Fit. After leaving a deposit to have a Fit transported from another dealership, I test drove the car and realized it wasn't right for me. The sales rep was great and went to retrieve my check and returned accompanied by the stereotypical SALES JERK. The jerk (supposedly a manager) wasted 45 minutes of my time refusing to return my check and insisting that I'd never find a better car and that I should test drive other models before deciding. He seemed dumbfounded that I'd leave a check and then reject the vehicle -- even though I couldn't have taken a test drive or even seen the actual car I was considering if I hadn't left the check. It was only when I threatened to call the police that he returned my check, without a word, and huffed back into his cave. The original sales rep was wonderful and helpful -- a credit to car salesmen. He followed me outside and apologized for his colleague's unprofessional behavior and I felt horrible for him, having to work with such a jerk. Even if I'd been interested in another Honda, I wouldn't have purchased it at Carey Paul because I was so angry about my experience. The sales jerk assured Toyota a sale.

Invest in your dog, reap huge rewards.

I was referred to Frogs to Dogs by a friend who has several dogs once considered unadoptable, but who have become her beloved housepets. My own dog had spent the first 13 months of her life in a shelter, so she was unsocialized and a little afraid of people and other dogs. I knew I was out of my depth, so I signed Cagney up for the unlimited lifetime obedience classes. Over the next months, in a fun atmosphere and in the company of people who understood the challenges of dog parenting, I watched my dog grow confident and I learned how to provide the behavior cues that will keep her safe and happy. Zsolt, Gina, Vicki, Tom and Allison are amazing trainers and they understand that we don't want our dogs to lose the sense of fun that made us love them in the first place. It turns out a well-behaved dog can still be a goofy prankster. And a goofy prankster who doesn't dart into traffic or lunge at other dogs is pretty awesome. There aren't even words to express how grateful I am to these trainers and I know every dog I have in the future will become a Frogs to Dogs student. My dog "graduated" yesterday, but we'll be at tonight's class as much for fun as training. I always thought it was cool that old timers and freshly minted pups were in the same class. Now my one-time terror gets to show the kids how a proper dog behaves.

Amazing job trimming gigantic, ancient trees

I expected to pay thousands of dollars to have big, threatening limbs removed from three trees surrounding my 100-year-old home. Matthew's crew managed the job in a few hours, at a third of what I'd budgeted (based on rough estimates from handymen) and left my yard cleaner than it was before they arrived. I was dubious about all the 5-star ratings, but now I'm offering one of my own. I couldn't be happier and will use this company again.

My scar is now nearly invisible!

A workplace injury left me with a thick, ugly scar that crossed the bridge of my nose and curved downward. Dr. Lincenberg monitored the healing process and then performed scar-reduction surgery that restored the shape of my nose and enabled me to completely hide the scar with just a little cover stick. The results far exceeded my expectations and I'm eternally grateful to Dr. Lincenberg and his wonderful staff.

Completely honest company! I'm still in shock!

I had cracks in the brick foundation of my 100-year-old house and lots of soil erosion, so I expected repairs totaling many thousands of dollars. Jay showed me how solid my foundation was and said all I needed was good gutters and a truckload of dirt to remedy the problem! I'm so glad I called him first, since I doubt another foundation repair company would have been so honest when presented with such an easy mark. It's the kind of thing that restores my faith in human beings. And if I ever do need foundation repair, I know who I'll call.
