Anchor Hospital

My Experiance

My husband was admitted to Anchor from the ER, to Detox for Substance abuse. No one from Anchor called me to even tell me he was there - I had to track him down myself, and had to be quite firm just to get any information on his status. In the 5 days he was there, I was never able to speak to a Dr. or even asked about my thoughts on his treatment program. In those five days, he was never detoxed, in fact, one of the very addictive drugs he was on, was increased. When he was discharged, they sent him out the door with a prescription for refills of two highly abusive medications. Two weeks later he admitted himself to Ridgeview Institute, where after 10 days of wonderful care, he was able to detox. They have not only treated my husband, but made sure I was cared for as well.
