Our Search is Over!

We searched high and low for someone to come and haul away a small pile of yard debris and some junk from our garage. Everyplace we called either wanted too much money or wasn't interested in a small job. Thankfully, we finally found Logan and this great company. He came out the very next day. We even invited our neighbor to add some junk to our load, and Logan was more than happy to take their stuff too. We are so glad we found him and know we will have more jobs for Junk Guys in the future. A great company owned by a terrific, hardworking, friendly young man. Highly recommend!

Couldn't Be Happier

I contacted BZ to have one of our property lines surveyed because we were pretty sure our next door neighbor had taken over part of our yard with his large garden. Andrew showed up right on time. He worked incredibly hard for 3 hours locating all 4 of our boundary points. Much of the time he had to contend with thick brush, spider webs, etc. As he worked, he was very friendly and we had some wonderful conversation. He did exactly what we had asked him to do, and the price was exactly as previously quoted. I hope we won't need survey services again anytime soon. If we do, we will surely call on Boundary Zone again.

I contacted HH via their website yesterday after reading the glowing reviews on Kudzu. Lou called me last night. I asked him for a quote to reinforce our basement double doors. I enjoyed chatting with him and was immediately impressed with his friendliness and customer service, as well as the fairness of the price quote. This morning he called to say that the repairman would be at my house at noon. Kit showed up right on time. He not only did an excellent job completing exactly the work we requested, but he went above and beyond. He replaced short screws in the door hinges with 3" ones to make the doors more secure, something I never would have known about. As he worked, he explained everything he was doing and gave me hints about future repairs I could do for myself. We were so impressed with Kit and this company that we will actually look for more projects around our house just so we can have them come out again! Now that is the best recommendation I could ever give!

Old World Craftsmanship at Bargain Prices

I contacted Chris about designing and installing a multi-wall shelf to display a large collection of decorator and commemorative plates. After seeing the gorgeous photos on his website, I wasn't sure Chris would want to do a job that is small compared to the impressive moldings and other large scale projects I saw on his website. Luckily, he was more than willing to take on our small job. He arrived on-time, spent an hour measuring and planning the project, went with my wife and me to Home Depot to pick out lumber and shelf supports, and then worked diligently for more than 3 hours cutting the wood and installing our new plate shelf. We are especially impressed with the way he made the shelving run continuously around our 5 angled walls with perfect joints. In total, Chris spent 6 hours with us and the result far exceeded our expectations. We recommend him to anyone who needs the kind of craftsmanship that is hard to find at reasonable prices in today's world.

Great service from a terrific guy!

I found John via Kudzu after the hard drive on my laptop crashed. I was in a panic and called him on a Saturday. He invited me to bring my computer that day. He checked it and called me back that night. He gave me the options of getting a new hard drive or buying a new laptop. Then he explained the advantages and disadvantages of each choice. I decided to buy a new laptop. John even went online and found sale prices on several good laptops he felt he could recommend. I bought one at H.H. Gregg that night. Today, Sunday, I delivered the new laptop to John. Within 2 hours, he had recovered all the data from my old broken hard drive and had moved it onto the new laptop. He even wrote out instructions so I would know how to connect to our wireless network and connect our wireless printer after I got home. Thanks to John, who is also one of the nicest people I have met, I was only without computer service for one day. I hope I don't need computer repair again anytime soon, but I will absolutely call John when I need help in the future. Thank you John for everything! You are the best!

The owner, Moses, came out at my request and listened to what we need. He truly cared about OUR desires and I knew right away that he would bend over backwards to accommodate us. He also answered all our questions and gave me good advice about the new zoysia sod we recently had installed. As promised, I rec'd the cost estimate by email that same night. It was very fair and reasonable. Today the crew showed up for our first lawn service. Moses had given them clear instructions about exactly what we wanted done. The crew, which included Moses' two sons, did everything perfectly. They were totally professional and careful and did exactly what we wanted. I feel so happy that we found this company. And I feel sorry for anybody who is not using Moses for all their lawn care needs. This company truly personalizes their service to fit the needs of each customer rather than trying to force the customer into the company's way of doing business. Give Moses a call if you want the best lawn service you've ever experienced.

Best Cleaning Service Ever !

We contacted Gomes Cleaning based on Kudzu reviews after problems arose with our prior cleaning service. My wife and I were impressed that Daniel made an appt to come to our home on a Saturday to see our house and find out exactly what our needs are. He gave us a price quote that was very fair. He then wrote up a detailed instruction guide with all our specifications, concerns, etc and gave it to the crew that was selected to clean our house every two weeks. After 2 months, we have had the same individuals every time and could not be happier. These wonderful people are dependable, friendly, and do an excellent job of making our house cleaner than it's ever been. We look forward to a long and mutually enjoyable relationship with Gomes Cleaning and recommend them to anyone looking for housecleaning services.

Great Service, Nice People

I first contacted this company via email at night and rec'd a phone call from Matthew shortly afterward. I told him of our concern about caterpillars and webs in one of our trees. He asked me to email photos and then called me back after seeing the pics. He told me I could save a lot of money spraying the tree myself rather than paying him to come out. He even told me exactly what to buy. However my wife and I wanted to have a professional job so I called back and left a VM message late at night. To my surprise and delight, Matthew and Amy showed up at our house the next morning! He sprayed the lower part of the tree with a hose sprayer and said he would return today with the bucket so he could go high above the top of the tree and do a complete job. Matthew and Amy showed up again this morning and did a very thorough and complete job of getting rid of our thousands of tent worms. He even trimmed the damaged branches and hauled them away! We are so happy that we found Matthews Tree Service on Kudzu. Matthew and Amy are incredibly kind and friendly and did an amazing job of solving our problem. I recommend this company with absolutely no reservation and know we will call them again if any tree issues arise in the future.

Best Painters Ever!

I contacted Ed at Remedy Painting based on other Kudzu reviews. I wasn't sure whether our house needed to be painted yet and told him I needed someone to come out and do a thorough inspection and make recommendations. From that first phone call, I pretty much knew we would end up working together. When Ed came to our home to inspect the exterior, he showed me concerns that I never would have been aware of. I asked him to prepare an estimate and he came up with a very fair price. I can't begin to adequately express how delighted my wife and I are with the job Ed and Brian did. They went far above and beyond what we expected and were here every day doing all the work themselves. They are truly professional craftsmen and, in the process, they truly earned our trust and became our friends. Unlike most companies, they overdelivered on their promises. For example, they put two coats of stain on our deck when we would have been very happy with one. They put two coats of paint of the steel poles that support our deck and the large beam under the deck. We never expected them to even touch those items. They even installed new blinds on our garage windows and replaced our outside floodlights, all at no cost. I spent 39 years in the insurance business all over the country and have known and worked with many painting contractors. I can honestly say that Remedy is head and shoulders above anyone else I have known in the painting business.
