Used to be nice

Customer service has been slowly going downhill at the East Cobb location, but my last visit really took the cake. I wanted to open an account, so I brought in 30 or so items (mostly nice business casual, no suits). As per their guidelines, everything was within the past two years, clean, and most of it was brands listed on their website. The employee behind the counter (dressed in a thin tank-top and cut-off shorts) combed over every piece, then LECTURED me on how women don't dress business-casual for work anymore, because they all wear jeans and khakis and t-shirts so they can be comfortable in the workplace. LOL WAT. If I showed up to the office in jeans and a t-shirt, I'd be sent home in a hot minute!! Shorts Lady just kept repeating "Women don't want to dress up for work anymore, no one is buying this stuff." If it's not what your store is looking for, just SAY that, there's no reason to be insulting and rude. On TOP of that, I found several pieces of clothing with obvious holes and stains. I saw one customer bring an item up to the counter and point out a hole. Shorts Lady apologized and took it, but the second that customer left the store, she put it right back on the rack! Forget this place. Either make the schlep to the Lilburn location (haven't been, but heard it's really nice), or head over to the Revive in Smyrna (REALLY great customer service).

Very pleased!

We needed a soffit and some siding replaced, so I contacted 5 different companies for estimates. Doug Sanders got back to me within a few hours; the other companies either didn't reply or got back to me over a week later. We had Doug come out to take a look, and he gave us a very fair estimate (he even noticed another piece of broken siding, and said he'd replace it at the same time for no extra cost). As for the repair-- When Doug was done, it looked like there had never been any damage at all! He even impressed my father-in-law (somewhat of a handyman himself). And he stuck to his estimate, no surprise charges. We'd recommend Doug to anyone!

Hallelujah Heating & Air

Wouldn't trust him in MY house

Fun fact: When you drive a huge truck with your company's name all over it you ARE actively representing your company. So when one of your drivers behaves badly, it reflects badly on your business. This morning, a Hallelujah Heating & Air truck began tailgating me at an unsafe distance (1-2 feet away going 40 mph) and swerving back and forth aggressively. When the driver got close, I noted his face and -ahem- "hand gestures" (mostly waving his hands around, but also giving me the finger). At the next light, despite the LONG line of cars directly in front of me, the driver pulled up within INCHES of my bumper and began gesturing for me to move forward/out of the way (and again with the middle finger). When I got to work, I Googled the company so I could report the guy (If I were an owner, I'D want to know). Imagine my surprise when the "driver" turned out to be the OWNER!!! I recognized him from the picture on the website! Okay, so when the OWNER acts like that, it tells me the following: -He doesn't care about his company's image -He doesn't care about the safety of others -He has no problem with acting aggressively towards a (petite!) woman driving alone -He has anger management issues sufficient enough to initiate unprovoked road-rage (I was doing 5 miles over the speed limit, happy as a clam, singing along to the radio for pete's sake! I have NO idea what got him so agitated) Sorry, but I'll take my business to someone more professional!!

Simply the BEST!

How can I express just how fantastic Tara Ryan is? Ok, let me try: if you were a five-year-old girl, Tara Ryan would be the equivalent of a real live sparkly unicorn that came with a pink castle and made you a for-real princess. So, in other words, amazingly sparkly AWESOME. My husband and I were first-time home-buyers with no idea what to expect from the home-buying process. But Tara made getting our home loan as painless as humanly possible! She was always available when we called, and responded to our emails lightning-fast. She explained every little detail, answered all our questions (and NEVER made us feel like any of them were dumb), and guided us through the entire process step-by-step. She had the lowest closing costs AND she got us the lowest interest rate (beat the pants off the other FIVE lenders we checked out). So if you need some sparkly awesomeness while buying your home- give Tara Ryan a call!!

Simply the BEST!

Simply the BEST-- I donít think I can say that enough! My husband and I were first-time home-buyers with a LOT of questions and no idea what to expect from the home-buying process. But Steven and Tascha made it as stress-free and painless as humanly possible! They were always available when we called, and responded to our emails lightning-fast. They explained every little thing, answered all our questions (and NEVER made us feel like any of them were dumb), and guided us through the entire process step-by-step. We never felt like we were being pushed or pressured, and we always felt like they had OUR best interests in mind. And they've even kept in contact with us to make sure we still love our house (we do!) months after the closing date. I would absolutely recommend The Katz Team to everyone I know, and even to complete strangers on the internet (by posting on Kudzu, obviously).
