Physiotherapy Associates Inc posted on 4/16/2011
This place is a joke for sports rehab
I tore my ACL and I went to Physiotherapy Associates for 6 months. In that time i had 4 different therapists because they have high turnover, i think they pay the people there very little because they accept the HMO & POS insurance. They had a lot of elderly patients, which is fine, but definitely were clueless on giving a challenging rehab program to athletes. I was way behind schedule on getting better because they dont pay close attention to your progress, they just print out a few copies of excersizes and send you on your way. Plus it's hard to make appointments because they have one person working there most of the time. GO TO EMORY in Perimieter.

Emory Physical Therapy is awesome
I was going to another Physical Therapy place for ACL surgery rehab, (Physiotherapy Associates in Dunwoody), and I made the switch to Emory in the Perimeter location because the people at Physiotherapy Associates were clueless. I am glad I made the switch. Michael did an assessment of where my progress was, gave me a detailed plan, and held me to it. My ACL rehab is coming along much faster now thanks to Michael. The guy knows what he's doing and was able to help me get on track so I can get back to playing sports.
