Sketchy

As a woman, I never felt comfortable with this company because the men they send out are kind of sketchy. They're not friendly, don't show common courtesies or respect for property, and take advantage of repeat customers by scheduling on the "off" season (when not needed) with only a day's notice. I recently had to deal with the "managing partner" andfound him to be rude. I had just driven up and was waiting for one of them to get away from the gate so I could open it. I watched him push our electric gate open as far as it would go. This bent the arm of our gate. I stoodthere and talked to the "managing partner" about it, who insisted it was fine and didn't apologize. I forgot about it until he sent me a rude email saying that my payment was overdue. After paying the bill, I wrote back to express my displeasure about the gate, his "follow up", and the way everything was handled. He wrote me back and argued about what happened, wouldn't admit responsibilty, didn't apologize again, and somehow tried to turn things around to put me at fault. For something he said didn't happen. I asked him, why would I go to the trouble to bring something up for no reason? I didn't ask him to pay to repair the gate or say that I shouldn't have to pay for the service, and I certainly have better things to do than argue with some strange man who basically accuses me of lying. These are not the kind of men I want on my property. I found them to be rude, unprofessional and sketchy

FANTASTIC

I was very please with the job that the owner of this company did on the huge tree stumps in our backyard. The price was fair, the job was done professionally, and he did the work the day I spoke with him. I wasn't even home when he did the work, but he did a great job. Really seemed to know what he was doing and to be honest. Highly recommend!

I would give 10 stars if I could

Our ancient Rollins alarm system died a slow death, so we got quotes from 4 top security firms. 3 sent salespeople who had been with their company for a few months. Chris at Premier came out and impressed me with his knowlege and long career in security systems. He has been in the business for many years and started Premier Security. He is also the service manager. He comes across as trustworthy and honest, not pushy and not only interested in the sale. He sent Ben out to install the system, and hosnestly, it is perfect. Ben has also been with the company for a long time and knew what he was doing. Their follow up and follow through has been more than I expected. We are so happy that we chose them - we couldn't have had a better experience. Wish all buying experiences went this well.

Don't bother

A friend told me about this group, and it was very convenient for us, so I signed my daughter up for some ACT/SAT prep. The owner, Mr. Chapman, is very unorganized and misleading. He sold me a big package ($975) that he said would get my daughter ready to retake the ACT. She had taken it once and did well but wanted to score a couple of points higher to get over 30, and this was what he suggested. The tutor she was assigned to simply reviewed the homework with her every night, so she didn't learn much at all. She went to all of the sessions and finished all of the homework, and her score actually went DOWN. The owner, Mr. Chapman, was defensive, catty and difficult to deal with. I am so mad at myself for spending that kind of money without some written guarantee that her scores would improve like the more reputable tutors offer, such as Appelrouth and Princeton Review. It was a massive waste of time and money, and dealing with Mr Chapman was stressful. On the whole, it was just a terrible experience. I highly recommend going with a company who has a proven track record and who stands behind their services. I should have known the company was unprofessional when I walked through the door and met the owner. Don't make the same mistake I did. You can spend the same amount or less than I did and have some recourse against poor tutoring with many other companies, and they'll likely be more polite and pleasant to deal with than Richmond Tutors. Buyer beware.

Dr J has been my doctor for 35 years

Dr. J has been my doctor for about 35 years, since I was (around) 16 years old. I go to him once a year and when I am sick. He has never failed me - health advice, life decisions - he is both brilliant and wise. I won't quit going to his office until he retires. Besides being an all-around good doctor, he doesn't make me come in for an office visit every time I have a symptom. Sometimes, I can just call him and his nurse calls in a prescription. This is very helpful for a busy mom. If I need to get in, his staff always find a spot for me without my having me wait. He is also calm and reassuring, and his staff has always been easy and pleasant to deal with. No one could go wrong with having him as a doctor.
