Great value and top-notch work
I called based on reviews here, and the reviews are accurate. Brad was prompt; he showed up when he said he would to give me the estimate; he gave me a great price; his painters showed up when he said they would and they did a great job. Highly recommended!

Great prices and service!
I compared their prices to those I found on the internet, and could not beat their prices. Plus Keith Cagle is a wizard when it comes to sound and lighting. Highly recommended.

Overhead Door Company of Atlanta posted on 1/26/2009
Abysmal Customer Service; rude
They showed up on the wrong day for a service call, which was just for routine maintenance on the large commercial door at our condo complex. When completed, demanded immediate payment of bill from a resident of the condo, and threatened to disable the door if not paid. We will not use again, and recommended to the property management company not to use for any of their properties under management. Instead, we will go with a company who knows what customer service is: Atlanta's Professional Door.

Worst experience with a salon ever
My initial experience at BSS was like so many others here, and I was impressed. But today they really blew it, and as a result they lost me as a customer. I made an online appointment several days ago for today at 1 p.m. I received an e-mail shortly thereafter, confirming the appointment and providing a confirmation number. I walked into the Post Riverside location at 12:45 and told the receptionist that I was there for my 1 p.m appt. She gave me a deer-in-the-headlights stare as she typed stuff on her computer. Then she nonchalantly looked up and said: No, your appointment is Friday the 6th at 10 a.m. To make the rest of a long story short, at first it was all the reception people could do to muster an insincere-sounding apology, as they blamed it on a computer glitch. After much cajoling on my part, finally they set me up with another stylist for a 1:30 appointment, and ended up only charging me half price. The stylist seemed in a hurry to finish with me, as I'm sure she had been told that this was a half price deal. She didn't even bother to offer to actually style my hair after she got done with the cut. If it were only the dropped appointment, I'd still be mad but I would not fire them as my salon. But the other half is how I was treated in the aftermath of THEIR mistake. Their customer service people act like they learned their skills in a medieval torture dungeon. I bet not one of them has any idea what the word "empathy" means. I won't be back.

Avoid like the plague
Based on reviews here and at Dr. Oogle (doctoroogle.com) I made an appointment. The person who took my info seemed nice enough when I explained to her that I absolutely had to get my teeth cleaned at this appointment. She even changed the date of the appt. so enough time would be allocated. Fast forward three weeks: the office calls me on Thursday, the day before my appointment, to confirm. But this person can't seem to give me a straight story on whether I will be able to get my teeth cleaned or not. She says it "might cost 4 or 5 hundred dollars." She also tells me that my appointment is at 10:30 and not noon as originally scheduled. I hesitate, but confirm the appointment. After hanging up, I have second thoughts and call the number I wrote on the sticky note that has been hanging on my computer monitor for three weeks (same note that says the appt. time is noon). Someone different answers the phone and I tell her I no longer want the appointment. She informs me that "we always close at noon every Friday." I realized then that, if I had shown up at 10:30, by the time I got all the paperwork done, x-rays, and been seen by the dentist, there is no way they could have cleaned my teeth before closing at noon. This is truly abyssmal customer service. The worst part is, I wasted nearly a month waiting for this appointment when I could have been looking for a real dentist, one with a professional and honest staff instead of these people.

Ridgeway Mechanical, Inc. posted on 10/23/2007
Went from great to sorry
I found these guys here and they were great at first. I wrote a rave review. However, we had another pump problem at our condo about ten days ago, and I asked our property manager to call Ridgeway, because they had been our "go-to" guys for these pumps. Long story short, they told our PM they'd be here twice, and twice they have not shown up. I was just in the basement hand-pumping the sewage out again, and our basement and bottom four units were nearly flooded again with sewage, all because these guys have found it difficult to keep their word and show up when they say they will. I now recommend avoid.

Premier Indoor Comfort Systems posted on 8/17/2007
Excellent on everything. Highly recommend.
I called and got lucky because they were able to get someone down to fix the a/c unit in a rental condo I own the same night I called (however, depending on how busy they are I suppose that this quick of a response may not always be possible). The technician, Ralph, really knew what he was doing. He brilliantly troubleshot and then fixed my problem and got my tenant's air conditioning running again in less than two hours. It was after 11 PM by the time he left. I paid extra for after hours, but I think it's about what I would have paid any of the "big guys" around Atlanta for a normal hours call. Actually this was probably less. So it was also a good value. I was using another company regularly for my rental properties and my own residence, but that company just got fired. Now it will be Premier.
