Worst in town

will never use agian becuase of terrible work and unfair billing. owner is unfrendly and the whole thing wasnt worth the time

Lunasea Hair Designs

Attentive staff, wonderful salon

Called Lunasea last-minute and they squeezed me in and gave me a great cut. There was very little "buy this product" from the stylist/owner and I wad a very good experience. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic Agent -- Leesa Belt-Haglund

Have been working with an agent from this office for a few months. Leesa is an excellent agent, hard working, and able to produce cutting edge promotional materials. The above ratings are for Coldwell Banker, the "Great" marks are for this agent. One warning: She is the worst driver ever. She sure can sell a house, though.

Hruska Plumbing

Failed to keep appointment

Called Hruska Plumbing, Heating, & Air to perform some maintenance on a HVAC system. Not only would they not return my calls after leaving many messages, when I finally reached them, they failed to show up for the scheduled appointment.

Pro Furnace and Air

Punctual, reliable service

After calling several other HVAC companies, Pro Furnace and Air showed up on time, fixed the problem, addressed a few other issues that I wasn't aware of, and charged a fair price. Jim does what he says he will do -- a unique quality in the area -- and does great work.

Unpleasant consultation and followup communication

Contacted Braun design to consult on a remodel. The initial consultation came of as confrontational and at times aggressive, but I hoped their "work" would speak for itself. After reluctantly deciding to pay a retainer for initial design plans, it became difficult to get a return call or schedule an appointment to meet. Once a date was settled on the owner failed to call me back as promised to set a time. It was obvious that this lack of specificity and attention would be a problem in the midst of such a large project. Other issues included paying their hourly rate for them to travel to and from the job site and a set of passive-aggressive emails from them after they were told their services were not needed. Callous hubris seems to outshine ability and customer service.

Nakama Japanese Steakhouse

While a nice place, the sushi just isn't very good

Ambiance and decor aside, the restaurant's fare leaves much to be desired. After being told about their excellent sushi I gave it a try. It was not good. A small step up from something offered in a high-end grocery store deli. While the place is nice, it was unpleasantly crowded, overpriced, and generally not worth the effort.

Pickle Barrel

Delicious food, delightful staff, run-down decor

Sure, it looks kind of rough. It is very rough. But it is still the best place for a quick lunch, pleasant service, and tasty junk food. While their burgers may be frozen/premade, their footlongs and special fries are not. Worth a trip for the Jazzy Fries alone!
