They took advantage of our situation. Tow truck driver recommended them so we agreed to take vehicle there. Vehicle was not drivable so we couldn't take it to other shops for estimates. We had liability only insurance, so no insurance claim to fix. They told us axle was bent and cost to fix was more than blue book value, so they recommended selling for parts as the best option. So we thought we were selling to a salvage yard. We didn't do the usual paperwork for selling a vehicle because they said it wasn't necessary on a salvage vehicle. Found out a couple of months later, the owner fixed and kept vehicle for himself. And he didn't register or title it in his name so we had to deal with his red light ticket. So buyer beware, get everything in writing and get multiple estimates.
