Did not show up for appt.
This business and the owner, Dave, did not show up for our appt. at my house. The appt. was scheduled for 11:30 a.m. At 11:45 I called Dave on his cell to see where he was. He told me he would need to call me back once he got to the office. @ 12:14 he called me back to apologize and re-scheduled for 1:30 pm. At 1:25 he called to say that he was running about another 45 minutes late, and wanted to know "if I still wanted him to come by." Do contractors not get it? I took the whole day of work off for a major problem that I am having with two of my windows, and actually talked to this guy about having some custom windows put in their place. Not to mention the fact that he asked me again (after I had a detailed conversation with him on the original phone call) what was wrong. I have had it with this company, and other contractors who do this to clients. If I did this in my line of business, and especially in an economy like this, I'd go broke. The good thing about it; if this is how I was treated on the front end, imagine how I would feel on the tail end. I would not recommend any business that cannot show up on time!
