Woods Animal Hospital

New to Norcross - We've found our Vet!

I'm new to Norcross and Dr. Legato is definitely our new veterinarian. We have 6 dogs (2 previously treated by Dr. Woods), and affordability is a concern when trying to find quality care for all the dogs. I read a couple of the recent reviews (and granted, Dr. Woods sounds like a hard act to follow), but I couldn't be more pleased with the care and treatment of our dogs from Dr. Legato and his staff. Don't expect a fancy-shmancy place, but you can expect professional and personable quality care for your pets. I think Dr. Woods' practice is in the right hands. And I'm grateful to have found Dr. Legato for routine checkups and trust him in the event of more serious medical needs. BTW, my dogs took to him right away, and that means so much. He takes the time to pet them and put them at ease so that they're not so nervous. I really can tell he's in this, not just as a business, but because he loves animals and wants to make sure everyone can afford quality medical care for their pets. P.S. The cost for routine checkup, yearly shots, heartworm tests, 3 months of heartworm preventive for *4* small dogs (and an antibiotic for one of the dogs) was barely over $250 today... I'd say that was more than affordable!

Cook's Pest Control

3 Strikes and Cook's is OUT!

1) I asked them not to place the plastic receptacles of poison in reach of my small dogs. They ignored it. My dogs ate the plastic and and pesticide just like I told Cooks they would. When I complained, they excused/justified it that it wouldn't hurt the dogs (shards of hard plastic and pesticide? NOT harmful? ) 2) I asked for notification when service technician would be at the house so I could pen the dogs. Again, ignored. They feel free to come and go without notification. 3) Perhaps my misunderstanding that I was paying a substantial amount upfront for service, perhaps it was a deliberately misleading sales pitch... This is a monthly charge of several hundred dollars on top of the large sum to start service... BE CAREFUL!

Sutherlin Mazda Mall of Ga

How to properly handle a mistake...

I picked up my vehicle after my regular servicing at Sutherlin Mazda (they always wash/clean the vehicle very nicely.) However this time, the wheels had turned black from a reaction with the tire cleaner (perhaps left on too long.) Oliver of Mazda Service brought it to my attention and immediately offered service to correct the cosmetic mistake. They comp'ed my regular services, put me in a rental, and made the wheels better than new. All at no cost to me. Although a mistake had been made, Sutherlin Mazda Service Department made it better than new and compensated me for the inconvenience. Everyone was extremely professional, apologetic, and helpful. It's one thing to have confidence in a service department when everything goes well (as it usually does at Sutherlin.) But their handling of this unfortunate circumstance gave me greater confidence that they will make it "better than right" for their customers should a mistake ever occur. I purchased my 2008 CX9 at Sutherlin at an excellent price and the exact model/color/features I was looking for. And after a brief time servicing elsewhere (thinking it would be better/cheaper), I came back to Sutherlin Service Department for regular maintenance. I will stick with Sutherlin Mazda Servicing.

Floodmasters, LLC

Reliable, Professional, and Delightful Results

My experience with Floodmasters is a flooded bathroom and crawl space due to a minor plumbing issue. Bob Condit responded quickly and immediately resolved the source preventing more damage and began the drying process. I don't know everything it took to dry and fully restore my bathroom, because he and his crew took care of everything so quickly with beautiful results. I had a deductible on insurance, but he dealt with insurance. I referred Floodmaster to my Mother (for a flooded basement) with equally professional results finished in unbelievably fast turn-around time.
