Apex Fence Company

Recommend

Apex was good to work with. Fence cost more more than I expected, but I am happy with it and would recommend. In February I needed to act fast to replace a dilapidated fence that my neighbor had finally agreed to let me replace and take ownership of - even with challenges of Ice and Snow scheduling was only pushed out once and they showed when they said they would, completed the job in a day for the price quoted.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CO - Included me in Bankruptcy

They only did the smallest portion of the job -WRONG- failed to show to any of the remaining work or fix what little they did do. We are disputing deposits through our credit cards. I even adjusted the dispute to allow for some labor and parts to be fair, but have had to pay another contractor to redo the work. Worst of all...WITHIN WEEKS THE WIFE OF DAVE FRANK, NATALIE FRANK, INCLUDED ME ON HER PERSONAL BANKRUPTCY. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Updated to original post: I have a sinking feeling...I am also having problems with Scot Sibley and Dave Frank. I really hoped that it is typical contractor scheduling issues, but after seeing recent reviews I am seriously concerned. Materials have not arrived (2 weeks turned to 2 more and now it's been 2 months! One says he confirmed windows are in -the other says they are back ordered because they are discontinued - complete disconnect), work has been pushed back repeatedly and today they were a no show and won't return calls or emails. The past reviews show they had it together at one point. They don't seem to now. Regretably, I too will be forced to looking at what recourse I can do to get deposits back. I can't speak to value or quality because they have barely done any of the work they contracted for. Ms. Leahy

Good guy for HVAC

Replied to my request promptly, showed up next day on time and solved the issue with my a/c for a reasonable price. It's nice to have someone I would definately call again for any hvac needs.

Something is going on with this company...

Nice enough. Not sure it has made a difference on my heating bill, but seems to havve helped with moisture and musty smell coming into the house. Price was in the middle of the 3 estimates I got, but the reviews here & elsewhere led me to choose them. Now calling themselves Crawlspaces.com. Confusing at get go, initial call Damien introduced himself as the owner, Jim came out to do estimate, Damien came out to do initial work, tells me Jim bought company - insulation rig breaks and takes a week (with me having to call them to reschedule) to come back out to finish. Jim does the final work. Asks me to come down in a couple weeks to check for condensation. Shows me that the lights they installed are powered by and extension cord I can plug in at will. When I get set to go down, the ext cord isn't plugged into anything in the crawlspace & I can't figure out where it goes. Also, haven't gotten the itemized receipt & needed tax form. I email, no response. I call & talk to Lynn, she tells me Jim got the email and will follow up. No response on either item. I send another email - nothing. This guy is MIA and Damien doesn't appear to be in the picture. I would wait to see if they can get it together before hiring them to any other work.

Convenient if you work downtown

First off the staff is awesome from front desk to hygenists, but the Dentists....I have seen both Dr. Phillips (confusing that they both have the same last name), the first one and I parted ways when I had a cracked and chipped molar that was causing me pain - he ignored my reason for being there and kept on trying to talk me into an overlay for a stain on one of my teeth toward the front. It was bizarre - I had to argue if he would fix the tooth that was in pain - or if the unsightly stain on my perfectly healthy tooth was his focus for more than 15 minutes. Frustrated, I switched to the other (taller) Dr. Phillips. He had the opposite problem - he wanted to grind down 16 points in my mouth rather than refit a porcelain that had put my bite out of wack. Wouldn't hesitate to get cleanings here, but am shopping for new dentists.
