Michael V. Razzano, DDS, PC

No More Fear of Dentists

Thanks to bad dental experiences in my younger years, my fear of going to the dentist was through the roof. Shortly after moving to Woodstock, GA., I encountered a dental problem I couldn't ignore. Finding Dr. Razzano's office only three miles from home, I decided to give him a try. His staff is friendly and professional, and Dr. Razzano was "painless." He immediately put me at ease and quickly resolved my problem. That was five years ago. Today, I make regular dental appointments for the first time in my life, and my wife, son, daughter-in-law (who had bigger fears than I did), and my grandsons all go to Dr. Razzano. I confidently recommend him.

Emma's Bistro & Grill

An Exceptional Treat

We discovered this wonderful place on Cobb Parkway thanks to a gift certificate. When the food arrived at our table, we wished we had found it sooner. You won't find run-of-the-mill fast food here. Relax for a worthwhile wait because everything's prepared from scratch. My baby back ribs were some of the best in flavor and practically falling off the bone. My wife enjoyed a thick pork chop that was as tender as a filet. Owners Paul and Fatima made us feel like family, too. The crowds haven't found Emma's Bistro yet, but when they do, they're in for an exceptional treat.

California Dreaming

Outstanding hospitality and service

On the recommendation of friends, my wife and I first ate at California Dreaming on Chastain Road for our anniversary last September. Our meals (prime rib and baby back ribs) were delicious. The service was outstanding, and we were thrilled to discover $1.95 basic well drinks. It is now our favorite spot for Friday after work "date night." Whether we sit on the patio and enjoy drinks and appetizers or go inside for full meals, the top-notch staff and manager Greg Carter have always made us feel like family. The prices aren't the cheapest, but the quality is worth every penny. And we've noticed that we're not the only ones who keep going back.

Blimpie Subs & Salads

Where's the beef?

I ordered the $4.99 French Dip sub at the Blimpie in Wal Mart on Highway 92 -- which the menu pictures PILED with meat. The skimpy thing I received was almost flat with about four or five small pieces of beef that barely covered the bread and a tiny bit of melted cheese. When I complained to the woman at the counter that I felt cheated by deceptive advertising, she refused a refund and insisted that the required meat was there. I will not go back.

Atlanta Classic Garage Doors

They responded on Christmas weekend

We arrived at our Woodstock home on a cold Christmas Eve to find our garage door would only go up a few inches. We had a broken torsion spring. Expecting no immediate response because of the holiday, I sent emails to six area firms on Christmas morning (Saturday), describing my door and asking for ballpark repair estimates. Atlanta Classic Garage Doors was the only one that responded, and did so later that day. As of Monday at 10:40 a.m., Michael and Nate had our door back in service, and working better than ever. They arrived when they said they would, professionally completed the job in less than 30 minutes, and charged a price I found very fair, based on my Internet research. I would call Atlanta Classic Garage Doors again without hesitation. As I write this (at 11:45 a.m. Monday), I have yet to hear from any of the other companies I contacted.
