Two Failed Surgeries in One Household
My husband and I both had surgery with Dr. Tritt in 2009. I started having sinus problems again about 2 months after surgery. Tritt insisted that my problems were allergy related, not sinus. Dissatisfied, I switched to a new allergist and ENT and both told me I had a sinus infection and my septum had re-deviated. Less than a year after my surgery, my septum is even worse than it was prior to surgery.
One year after my husband's surgery, he began having problems again also. Like me, his septum is also re-deviated.
I understand that surgery isn't guaranteed and that everyone's results will not be the same. But two failed surgeries in one household is not a very good track record. Tritt also never cultured our sinus infections which is something my new ENT does at every visit.
On the plus side, I do think that Tritt has great bedside manner and listens well. I never felt rushed. Unfortunately, good bedside manner isn't enough to make up for the 2 botched surgeries and continuing problems in my household. Both my husband and I are going to have to have our surgeries repeated.
