Zenergize Wellness Spa

Not customer service oriented

I have been to this place twice. The massage is okay on a scale of 1-10 about a 6 or 7. The problem is there does not appear to be anyone on staff regularly. When you call to make an appointment they apparently call the therapist and determine when you come in on when they come in. I was given an appointment on one day and then I was called back and told the therapist had a conflict and wasn't coming in that day and to re-schedule the following day at one time and one time only. I called back within the hour and was told that time was not available and to make an appointment for next week. I have had similar experiences and now I am giving up.

below average food at high prices

Pros: Is a kid friendly, lots of small children, high chairs, etc. kids section on menu Cons: I had a corporate gift certificate my wife received as Christmas gift from a neighbor apparently given to employees. They refused to honor it saying they had broken ties with that corporation. We decide to stay anyway. I ordered a glass of house wine Oberon $12.00 for a 1/4 full glass (you can buy a bottle of Oberon at Sherlocks Wine shop for about $14.00). Asked the waitress for a recommendation, accepted her recommendation off the menu (not a special) and then after orders were placed was told that it was not available and had to re-order. No big deal but result was it took about 45 minutes to get served. According to the menu they charge extra if you request additional bread!!!(and they do so watch out)Waitress asked us during our 45 minute wait if we wanted extra bread without disclosing the cost, fortunately my wife had seen the fine print. Waitress included an extra meal on our check for the dish they did not have. I believe this was an honest mistake and did not color my opinion here, but clearly she was frazzled all night, but she had several tables with lots of small children and infants. Bottom line lots of self promotion and lavish descriptions of the food and showy presentation by a scripted wait staff but the food was merely average and overpriced compared to other Italian restaurants in the area.
