Unsafe and Poor Customer Service
When I made arrangements the first time my dog stayed there, I asked if he could be next to an empty kennel because when I adopted him he had behavior issues. I was told yes, and that it would not cost extra. When I picked him up, she explained that he was not by an empty run because dogs act differently when they're not around their owners. She told me he probably only fought with other dogs when he was around me. That wasn't true; he fought even when I wasn't around. I was frustrated that she put dogs in danger just to prove a point.
I mistakenly thought that because my dog’s behavior had improved it would be okay to leave him there again. I emailed while on vacation and nobody responded. When I brought him home I tried to play with him and he cowered, flinched, and yelped. These were new behaviors. When we called, Dawn stated that the owner returns all emails, but she would check and let us know what happened. She stated they do not abuse dogs, but would see if something happened when he was around other dogs. This confused me because I paid extra for individual playtime. We have not heard back.
I paid $456 for two weeks of boarding and individual playtime every other day. Nobody returned emails or phone calls, and now my dog doesn’t trust me. I understand others have had great experiences there, but I have not.
