Overhead Door Company of Atlanta

Residential Garage Door Repair

My residential garage door broke and would not open more than 2-3 feet. I read the manual and tried to troubleshoot the issue. I could not fix the problem. I called Overhead Door Company of Atlanta. They were able to come out the same day at 6 pm. The representative showed up on time and was very knowledgable. After taking apart the garage door opener we determined that a plastic gear inside the motor had broken. He quoted me a price of $200. I allowed him to fix the problem while I researched the part on the internet. I could have bought the part on-line for $20 and probably fixed the problem myself. The representative told me the price and was upfront and honest. In the end, the job took less and 30 minutes and cost me $228. I could have bought the part on-line for about $20. Overhead Door Company of Atlanta was on-time and knowledgable, but outrageously expensive. Just be aware of their pricing structure and be informed.

Quality Home Inspection

Home Probe. Inc was recommended to me by real estate agent. Darryl Rapp was on-time, efficient and thorough. Darryl was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. When I scheduled my inspection Tracy at the home office was a pleasure to work with. I would certainly recommend Home Probe. Inc. to a friend.

Fast Service Locksmith Atlanta

Terrible company - DO NOT USE

I found this company on the internet as A Always AAA Locksmith, but the name on their invoice is America's Fast Service Locksmith. Who knows how these companies operate. Both my real estate agent and I called this company independently and we were both quoted a rate of $35 to unlock one simple deadbolt in order to enter the crawl space. They were scheduled to arrive at 9am to meet my home inspector. At 9:45 am the locksmith called to say he was not provided with the entire home address from his office. This mis-communication annoyed me, but I continued with the transaction. Within 10 minutes I received a call from the home office telling me that there was some miscommunication on the price and the fee would be $85. The home office told me they would ďgive me a good price.Ē This was after they have told us twice the fee would be $35. They had me over a barrel and my hands were tied and I had to pay. Don't use this company! They will increase their price when they arrive as they know that your hands are tied.

Adventures In Diving

Great Experience

Diane and Scott's business is great. I researched plenty of dive shops and selected this shop even though I live in-town and the drive was about 45 minutes. The price of the class was equal to or less than other shops for those cost-minded folks. My class had 8 students and Scott is a joy to listen to adding funny and interesting stories as examples to illustrate his point. The pool work done during the weekend class was just a few miles away from the shop and the weekend-long format made the class very quick. I was not interested in classes that met one night per week for several weeks. They offer check-out dives approximately every month. If they donít have the gear you need in the shop, they can get it. Their class/gear package really makes things easier for first-timers. If you are looking to jump into the sport with both feet, Adventures in Diving organizes many very economical trips for its certified students. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Look No Further

If you are looking to re-roof your home YOU MUST, at the very least, request a quote from Deluxe Roofing. I received quotes from 4 different roofing companies and though Deluxe was not the least expensive I felt confident before, during and after the job. Their presentation was far more professional than any other company and everything was explained up front and in writing. Richard Lewis is upfront and honest and when Deluxe says they are not complete until the customer is happy they truly means it. Due to an error with the shingle manufacturer, Deluxe was willing to make less money on my job in order to make me happy. I donít believe any other roofing company would have worked so hard to make me happy. The workers showed up on time, prepared my yard so as not to damage my shrubs and clean up after themselves. I will make one VERY STRONG suggestion to anyone having a roof replaced. Do your research on the shingles you select. Pay particular attention to the sample provided to you by your roofer. Check out the roofing colors at Home Depot and Lowes to make sure they match your selection. Each pallet is slightly different in color and colors can differ significantly from pallet to pallet. If possible, inspect the shingles when they are delivered to your home BEFORE the roofers begin to lay the shingles. After a long process Deluxe made me happy and I highly recommend this company.
