Bruce Electric

Posted on: 2/9/2014

Superior Work, Immediate Response, Fair Prices

This is the third time we have used Joey (Michael J. Bruce)from Bruce Electric and, again, he was onsite in 30 minutes. Our issue seemed to be a failed main switch that our new heat pump was continually tripping. He diagnosed that one of the issues was the power company meter and got them out here a second time (first time they ignored me because their "computers" said it was fine) to fix that for free. He then stayed late to make sure we had power (no heat yet). He explained the options we had to replace our service panel and that it still might not fix the problem if our heating compressor was bad (which it was). We consider the reworking of our old house's electric panel, the best deal we've had from contractors. Joey is a Good ol' Boy that knows his work, charges fairly, is very courteous and leaves the site clean. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous Shower Doors - worth the price!

Excellent service by Rob and fast, efficient install by Steve of our semi-frameless shower doors on a platform in the basement. We knew this job had a few odd angles from the tile placement, but with the suggestions from Rob and Steve's placement expertise, it looks fabulous and we love it! Also, EVERY phone call or appointment was kept and on-time AND the cleanup was perfect after install. We are getting quotes from them for mirror and door window glass, too. Highly recommend!

Patio Enclosures Inc.

Excellent Craftsmanship - enjoyed for years now

Our Patio Enclosure Solarium was built in 2002 and we have loved it. I understand the company closed the ATL office in 2010. Until then, we got great response on the two items that needed fixing under the lifetime warranty. Ours was a curious size (part 2-story) and the engineers and sales people definitely knew their stuff. PE products were a bit more expensive, but after seeing the competitions thinner, flimsier materials, I am so glad we opted for the best even though it took time. (Our solarium is on the cover of their brochure now.) Love the product. I understand the crew that now builds them is contracted out.

Hemma Concrete and Pavers

Used twice - LOVE THESE GUYS!

We have been doing a lot of renovating of our house and landscape. Hemma Concrete is now the first call we make. We have used them for three project on two occasions. Not only are they professional in their immediate response (some others took SO long or dropped off the radar), but the jobs were done cleanly (think: NO tossed soda cans or leftover trash like some), amazingly fast and ON TIME & ON BUDGET! We used Hemma for a shed pad, a 30' porch/patio w/ multiple levels, and 100' wrap-around sidewalk. They suggested things we didn't know about like putting conduit under the sidewalk for our electrical, and were flexible enough to make changes when we had to. Will use again soon for the driveway. Top notch company.
