Eddie's Electronics

On time as promised

Eddie personally was at the house when he said he would be, which always makes me feel a lot more confident regarding the work ethic of the serviceman. I had the common "white dots" issue in my Mitsubishi DLP set that Eddie was able to correct at the house in about 20 minutes. I'm always going to call on Eddie whenever I have an electronic issue I need help with in the future.

Cool Air Mechanical

Prompt but overpriced

Had an outside A/C unit fail during days in the 90's. Called Cool Air since they had a kiosk in Costco, of which I am a member. They were great about coming out promptly. Said there would be a $79 charge for the trip and analysis, then parts and labor beyond that. They came out, fixed it, then charged me $185 for what would be a commonly failed capacitor. Two weeks later, my 2nd outside unit failed. I called Cool Air again, again they sent out a different guy promptly, again a failed capacitor. This time I was billed about $220. After having this happen twice, I did a lookup as to the typical costs for someone like me to purchase a capacitor. They were about $6 each. So as I see it, in both cases I paid $79 for each trip. I then paid approximately $6 each time for the failed part. That left around $100 for the labor (20 mins time to repair, tops) on the first visit, and about $135 labor for the 2nd visit.

You should hire these guys

First off, they not only arrived on time, they were even a few minutes early (major points in my book!). Did the job completely to my satisfaction (spring trimming and removal), and completed the job within the estimated time. What more could I ask for? Will hire again in mid summer because the yard grows so fast.

Going the extra yard in diagnosis

John saved a friend of mine nearly $1,000 by doing a through diagnosis on her car's A/C system. Prior to bringing her car to J & L, she had estimates from $1,200 to $1,600 to replace her compressor, as well as other components. John's team inspected it and found the compressor to be malfunctioning due to air being in the system. Once they bled the entire system, refilled it and reset it to factory spec's, the A/C was once again working like new and including a 1-YR warrantee. All for less than 25% of the other shop's estimates. J & L could have provided the common wisdom of suggesting new components, but because they chose to look deeper into the problem, my friend is totally happy with her A/C, and saved a grand in the process!

Trustworthy and always helpful

Whenever you encounter a service shop that goes out of it's way to answer any and all questions you may have, even recommend other specialists when necessary, while not gaining any immediate business for themselves, you know you have encountered a business with a long-term philosophy for growing their business through repeat and referral customers. Highly recommended.

Lonadier's Mobile Detailing

How does it get better than this?

I've used David for several years now in which he has detailed at least 5 different cars for me. A particular challenge was asking him to do my teen-aged daughter's SUV, which took him additional hours just to clean the interior due to the excessive dog hair throughout the upholstery. When he was done, the car looked brand new again. He never hurry's through any job I've asked of him. Meticulous with detail. It's obvious he enjoys what he is doing. Great results every time. You couple his excellent results, punctual arrival wherever you are, and VERY competitive rates, and you have the formula for why go no where else.
