My Room to Grow posted on 6/18/2013
Warning!!!!
Worst director I have ever met!!!! I have never been treated so rudely before (by the director & owner Marina) and the communication is horrible! There were a number of reasons why we took my son out of the preschool. First, they turned his brand new back-up shirt into a rag and ripped off the sleeves (and the director never apologized and in fact blamed it on me). Then they continued to mix up his sheets and blanket with other children’s sheets/blankets (even though his name was on it). There were also numerous occasions where I witnessed children being left unattended. We were also not notified when pictures we ordered came in. I could go on and on about other problems but what shocked me the most was that when I gave our 2 week notice, the director never even bothered to ask why we were leaving (or that they are sorry to see my son leave) and in fact said “we have a child waiting for a spot so I will tell them it’s open”. What kind of owner and director doesn’t want to know why they are losing a client???!!! I would not recommend this place at all!!!

Steve worked on our home a few years ago (I haven't had a chance to post a review until now). He installed our laminate floors, carpet, and baseboards. He did a wonderful job and was reasonably priced too. We had not painted the baseboards yet and were planning on painting them after Steve installed them. Steve strongly recommended us to paint them before installing them but we didn't really have time to do this. He offered to paint them for us and did not charge us to do so! This was a lot of time and effort on his part and we can't even express our appreciation. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! Thanks Steve and sorry for the delay in posting this.

Wells Fargo Bank posted on 2/26/2012
FED UP WITH WELLS FARGO!!!!
My grandpa passed away & he had an inherited IRA with Wells Fargo. My mom was a beneficiary on the account. She is retired & counted on this money to live off of, but thanks to Wells Fargo, that will not happen! She went to the N. Hollywood branch to have the account retitled to her name, to keep it as an Inherited IRA. The bank rep assisted her w/ the forms, but did not check the Retitlement box on the form and my mom didn't realize this at the time. Consequently, the account was turned into a regular savings account, which created a HUGE tax liability, wiping out much of the accounts value. Realizing their mistake, my mom went back to the bank to get the error fixed & spent an hour w/ the branch IRA Specialist. Waste of time! She then spent hours on the phone with the IRA dept. & was told the correction would be made & was given a referral number. When she followed up a few weeks later she was told that nothing had been done & that the request was placed in escalation. After several phone calls & many hours spent trying to resolve this, Wells Fargo refused to make the correction & said there was nothing they will do to fix it. So, she got the run-around and was lied to. We are strongly thinking of withdrawing ALL of our accounts & our friends & family are doing the same.

Handy Dan's Home Repair posted on 3/24/2011
Be Aware!!!!!
We had Dan texture our living room ceiling. The job was just okay. Nothing to brag about. He really messed up on one particular area but we had other things to worry about so we didnt make a fuss. A year later, we wanted to get a quote to have him texture ceilings in other parts of the house. He wanted to charge us more than triple of what he was going to charge us originally. Basically, one year ago, he was going to charge us $600 to texture all the ceilings in the house. One year later, he wanted to charge us $2500 just to texture 3 bedroom ceilings!!!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!! He said the majority of the cost was from the prep. work. So, when we asked how much he would take off if we moved all the furniture out of the rooms ourselves, he said he would take off $500. What a joke! On top of this, when he showed up to give us the quote, he asked who textured our living room ceiling. We said "you did!". He then said "I did that?!" and admitted "it looked like sh**". However, he did not offer to fix it for free (even if we didnt want to hire him for this 2nd job). He would only fix his crappy work if we would pay him $2500 to do the main job. We will NEVER hire him again for any work whatsoever. We ended up finding another painter who charged us $500 for the whole job and he did a beautiful job!! Plus, the charge of $500 included all the prep work. We didnt life a finger!! Watch out for this Dan- he charges absurd prices and does a really crappy job!!!!

Richard and his assistant textured our ceilings in our home. They did a great job and were very reasonable. They were clean, on time, and we are very happy with their work. I highly recommend them for any painting job!!
