They dont have it together

I am a previous customer who has always found this to be an excellent company to do business with ... until now. I went in for some truck accessories and was told that they had one item that I wanted already in stock. They offered it to me for a deep discount and assured me that it was in perfect condition and ready for installation. They really talked up the product and convinced me to purchase it. When the other accessories arrived, I made an appointment to install the accessories. I tried to get them on the phone throughout the day to no avail. Finally, they called me at 3:30 and said that the item they had in stock did not have all its parts and would require additional $$ if I still wanted it. Additionally, the other accessories had not actually arrived. In other words, they had made no effort to ascertain whether they could actually do the work before making the appointment. And trying to upcharge me for their mistake was just wrong. I will do no further business there.

Honda Carland Service Center

Be warned

The key and remote to my Honda S2000 (which I bought at this dealership) were stolen. I went to them to buy replacements. I cannot make this up. These people quoted me nearly $500 to replace the key and remote!! Let me say that again - nearly $500.00!! And again - $500.00 for a car key and remote. This was classic highway robbery in its purest form. It was piling on me after my misfortune. These folks just wanted to see if I was stupid enough to pay it. When I expressed outrage, they treated me like I was trailer-trash. Thereafter bough the remote online for $65. and programmed it myself. Bought the key from Honda in Woodstock, programmed, for $110.00. Never, never, never do business with these criminals. The purchasing experience on this car was not bad at all, but whoa be unto you if you ever need to return to the dealership for anything ...

Superior Plumbing Services

Superior was not dependable.

I had a major leak to the main line from the meter. They promised to show up during a window from 8am-12pm. They never showed up. It turns out they had failed to inform me of their policy that they will not honor the appointment unless they establish phone contact first. Superior is gigantic, and because of that, they have policies like this to protect themselves. That protection is at the expense of the customer. (And of course, they would do well to inform their customers of those policies). Plumbing problems can be a disaster, and you need a dependable plumber in such a situation. So you are far better off ignoring giant companies like Superior with giant phone book ads, and asking your neighbors for a small, local plumbing outfit that will actually show up to do the job.
