Not authentic German food at Vreny's!!!
Had dinner there with a group last night! Being German, I expect it to be somewhat authentic. The entire meal was VERY disappointing. Veal Jaegerschnitzel was small piece, very dry, overcooked and camoflagued with mushy breading. It cost $21.00! The red cabbage was soggy, no flavor, bland!! The "german pasta" spaetzle tasted like it was soaked in water for a week, no flavor! OVERPRICED AND NOT AUTHENTIC. The wait staff could care less if you are satisfied. I drove 40 miles one way to meet friends and enjoy the food. Enjoyed the friends but the food was not worth it!! I cannot recommend this "German" restaurant.
By the way, the strudel was cold and the coffee arrived cold, nothing to rave about.
