Worst customer service ever
So a guy comes knocking checking to see about a gutter estimate. It so happened that were looking for quotes - already had 1 - so I let him put me down for an estimate. His stipulation was that my husband & I both be present for the estimate. OK, not preferred, but OK. Two men show up & are there for a good hour. Said there was something they needed someone else to look at first & would send someone out before we could get an estimate. No one ever came back, no quote. Fast forward 4-5 weeks and I get a call on my cell phone from Taylor Construction saying there is now a "special" & wondering if I would like to get an estimate. I let her know what happened the first time, she said someone will call me the next day to set up a time to get me a written quote. A woman calls and says they are coming out on Saturday to measure & give us the quote, plan on about an hour and we both need to be there -- WHAT? Didn't they already do this? I let this woman know of our situation and when she said they needed to measure again, I said, "You know what, forget it," and right then she HUNG UP ON ME. I wasn't yelling, I was just letting her know that we already went through the high pressure sales pitch without receiving a written quote. Instead of trying to appease me & make the sale, she hung up. I got 3 other quotes on gutters, none of which required both spouses participating, none of which took more than 20 minutes. Be aware & look elsewhere if you want customer service.
