(C)"PLAY in a Day" Piano lesson

I loved this so much! Very informative for beginning players!

My young child wanted to learn piano, and my wife thought she'd like to learn as well, so both arranged for a lesson. The instructor saw them together for an hour. Both reported it was a pleasant experience, but neither was particularly enthused and neither has expressed any more interest in learning to play piano. That may not have anything to do with the instructor (we all have things we think we'd like to do until we try), but I wanted to balance the glowing praise of other reviews with a more restrained apraisal that this style may not be for everyone. I also want to point out that she charged almost double the rate for teaching two students without lengthening the time of the lesson. It would have been more cost effective if we had scheduled two individual lessons - that way each would have received more individual attention for the money spent, rather than what was essentially half the time for twice the cost.

In the first few minutes of my "Play in a Day" I learned all the notes and how to read music. Mrs. Fisher told me really good tricks and hints to help me remember the notes. Now I can open any music book and play whatever I want. I played a few songs.I really enjoyed the class loving every minute of it.
I would recommend this class to everyone!!

I had never played piano before in my life, but I really enjoy music. I was a bit skeptical that I would learn very much about playing in only and hour, but I was pleasantly surprised! By the end of the hour I knew how to read the basics of sheet music, basic chords and keys, how to position my hands and how to identify the notes on the keys of the piano. It was easy, understandable and fun!
