The move went as expected. I wanted a good, fast, thorough, professional, organized crew - CHECK. I wanted no gimmicks and hidden fees - CHECK! I was moved across town from a 3-level, 3-bedroom townhouse to a 3-level, stand-alone residence in 5-and-a-half hours - AWESOME. They sent me a 4-man crew and one large truck. I have to give credit to the guy working the phone, he blurted out exactly what size crew/truck I needed without me ever presenting him an inventory list of items. I had called around and was offered everything from smaller crews, 2 trucks, and higher costs (because it was a weekend) from other movers. Fast forward to the move - the crew packed that truck like true Tetris Grandmasters. The unload was fast and clean. Be prepared to answer them when they ask, "Where does this go?" You may slow THEM down if you're not up to their fast pace. It must be noted, I held up my end of the deal and had everything packed and boxed when they arrived. I asked if that helped and the leader said it makes a huge difference if everything was already organized. Don't expect miracles from any moving company if you don't have your crap well in order. Read that last line again. At the end of the day, I was just UNDER a grand for the move (not including the prepaid deposit - basically equal to one extra hour). It was a great deal. Just do it. And FYI, I called them on 2 days notice.

I used 24/7 again last week to move my 3rd floor, 2 bedroom apt into a house and again, just like 2 years ago, these guys were very good. They Get to work immediately and they work very quick and efficient. It's quite amazing to see these guys stack several heavy boxes, wrap a strap around them and sling them over their backs and carry them down 2 flights of stairs like it's nothing. They had my entire move completed in under 4 hours. The only difference this time compared to 2 years ago is they now have a "trip fee" which is basically your deposit. So instead of the deposit being applied towards an hour of the end total, it becomes the "trip fee" and does not reduce your total at the end like it used to. The guy booking the moves could be a little more clear about this, but even with that extra little fee they still come out cheaper than the other 2 companies I have used just based on the fact that they get the move done quickly and don't rack up extra time on you. They are very efficient and professional. They always show up on time without needing directions and get right to work. They don't stop until the truck is loaded and again until everything is placed where you want it at the new place. I highly recommend them.

24/7 is wonderful. Guys on time, kept to the task, didn't complain at all, worked hard, did everything I asked of them. There were challenges at the origin- steep drive, small winding stairway - but the guys got it done in 4 hrs start to finish. I will never use another service!

These movers showed up exactly on time for a quote, were prompt in replying to emails and questions, and came in under the estimated price in the end. They showed up exactly on time on moving day, their movers worked their butts off, they were careful & loaded the truck expertly, and unloaded all the items exactly where I wanted them. They even disassembled & reassembled large pieces expertly and placed enormous amounts of storage bins in our attic. They far exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier! I would recommend these guys without reservation.

24/7 Moving made our moving day easy! They were professional and courteous, and careful to make sure all of our furniture was handled with care. I highly recommend 24/7. Daniel, Timothy, and Esteban's crew did a great job from start to finish.

We used them for a local move and had a couple of stops along the way. Esteban and his crew arrived right on time. They did a great job of packing all breakable items and were careful to wrap every piece of furniture or loose items I would not have even thought of myself. We had to also pick up furniture at a storage unit and then make it in time to wood-working shop before they closed at 1pm. Everything went fine and as we got close to the 1pm deadline they put it in high gear so we were right on time. They had their own GPS and were right there with us for all of our stops. Finally, at the new house we were unloaded quickly and they help us set up a lot of the new stuff. In one case, I discovered I had a four-pronged cord for dryer. I went out and bought a three-pronged cord and one of the guys was able to help us get that new cord on. It worked fine and we were up and running. Can't say enough about how efficient and professional these guys were. They turned a normally hectic day into a smooth productive one. I would highly recommend!

I've used 24/7 before to move furniture to a consignment shop and was very pleased so we hired them for a whole house move. From initial contact to the move itself the guys were professional, responsible and very respectful of us and our belongings. And that's all that matters when you move. I'd hire them again and would highly recommend!

24/7 moving had a better rate per hour than most and flexible in my move dates( $50 fee). If moving with 24/7, be thorough about what they can and CANNOT do/move, esp for specific requests. Document questions via email. Timothy, the person booking moves, agreed to moving and stacking a washer/dryer - a main concern of mine and reason why I chose 24/7. I provided details of the move, esp. w/d in emails and no less than 2-3 calls, providing details about the w/d. Timothy confirmed each time that the movers would take care of it. On the day of the move, thankfully the movers were honest about their capabilities and didn't feel comfortable with the task. I called Timothy to ask, and he backtracked that he wasn't aware of my w/d specs. Daniel (owner) called, after reading my emails, and flat denied my request, stated I wasn't clear, that Timothy had no recollection and that the request was unconventional. Though you don't have to write anything in email, you should, bc that is what they will use to backtrack. In the end, I appreciated the honesty of the movers. I didn't want them do something they could not. It would have been good to know in the beginning to plan, and unprofessional of the office staff/owner to backtrack, esp in the middle of my move day. My advice: ask question, get it in writing, be specific in your request and confirm if they can do it. Also, better have boxes and tape at all times.

The reason why we were not able to complete the assembly of this washer/dryer unit is because the length of the hose was too short to assemble and then hook up within the limited space in the home. The customer's instructions, " I have a front-load washer/dryer that needs to be unhooked and transported, and then assembled on the second floor of townhome," did not indicate the retro fitting of the unit with an aftermarket part, which would have been addressed differently from the beginning and more than likely the customer would have been referred to an appliance technician in this instance. Secondly, we only bring boxes and tape if a prior request is made. We don't want to waste space inside the truck that a customer could use for transporting their belongings. And finally, to address the $50 fee referred to in the beginning of the review. This customer cancelled their move twice, rescheduling for different days, once on the same day as the move and another the day before her move. We can reschedule, but a last minute reschedule (being less than 4 days notice) does have a $50 fee associated with it, which is not hidden and made very clear prior to reservation. We do however agree with this customer that any special requests be asked or addressed fully in writing just for clarity in the event of confusion either on our part or the part of the customer. Likewise, we encourage all customers to ask as many questions as necessary or desired. Our goal is to help you have a smooth and stress free move. We will always make time for your questions or concerns, no matter how complicated the situation.
We went from a 2 bedroom apartment to another 2 bedroom apartment across town. We have a lot of stuff for a 2 bd apt. The three man team was incredible, they wrapped/protected everything and did an amazing job with our stuff! Highly recommend!

I used 24/7 Moving and Storage on a recent move from a 1 bedroom apartment to a house. The sales person was very helpful, returned emails/calls, followed up, and even matched a competitors price. I thought the rates were comparable to other companies I looked at. I had a 3 man crew who showed up on time. They were extremely professional and expertly wrapped all my furniture in blankets and saran wrap for protection. Nothing was broken on arrival. Even though charges were by the hour, the crew was extremely quick and efficient. It only took them 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete the whole move. I would recommend this moving company.

This is the second time I have used 24/7 Moving to move me. Both times they were great and very careful with my furniture. They wrapped everything with blankets and the plastic wrap and worked in a very timely manner. I asked the mover for his cards as I am telling all of my friends about them. They were the least expensive of the moving companies I called and had great reviews.
