Excellent work for a good price. Luke and his teams did exactly what we agreed upon for exactly the price he quoted. Framing work was excellent. Sheetrock install and tape/float look amazing. Will be calling 3rd Generation for our next remodel.

Luke did a fantastic job in patching and painting my kitchen ceiling due to another installer having to cut 15 holes to put in recessed lighting. You cannot tell that any holes had been cut- looks better than it did to start with. Luke cleaned everything up and even painted another room, that turned out great. Charged a fair price for quality work. I will be using him again!

Luke and his employees just put in a 10' wall to form a 4th bedroom in my home. He did a great job, took the necessary time(even though the job was small) to do it right and is also very friendly. I was in the construction industry for a few years but can't do the work anymore because of injury so I know quality when I see it and Luke knows what he is doing. Definitely recommend him.

After receiving a few bids for our basement project I went with Luke. From his very first visit he made my wife and I feel like family, very credible and professional and took great lengths to make sure we understood the process and how to maximize our budget to keep our costs in line. We are very impressed and highly recommend him to anyone considering any project around the home or business.

I did all the framing for my basement project but I really don't like to drywall. I got three quotes including one from 3rd Generation. They were the best price by far and were available to start the next week. I also got a great price to include spraying the primer coat and an even better price to paint the ceilings. When they were done all I needed to do was paint the final wall color. I would have no problem recommending them to anyone and I don't say that about many contractors

In addition to a fabulous job on the dry wall, Luke always kept me up to date on progress, plans and was quick to remedy an issue himself as soon as it arose. He helped us keep on a tight schedule, was easy to contact and always answered our calls! Would highly recommend him to anyone - Thanks for an awesome job!

I needed someone to drywall a basement project that had some complex requirements for soundproofing. (double DW, soundproofing paste, etc.) 3rd Generation Drywall was competitively priced and had worked with the materials before, which gave them the edge. His crews were polite and professional and the work looks amazing. Thank you Luke!

Luke and crew stopped by and did a fast and fantastic job patching our drywall (4, 1 foot by 2 foot chunks ripped out due to water damage) and matching some outdated stippling. After a coat of paint, our kitchen ceiling looks brand new and it is impossible to tell where the patches are! They were one of the only drywall companies that didn't tell us our job was too small. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

We've used Third Generation Drywall for several projects so far. Luke and his crew are very reliable, their price is right and they did a great job installing the new drywall. They went above and beyond even coming on a weekend to finish to help us meet our deadline. When it came to installing trim in the house, we called Luke! We would recommend him to anyone and will be using him in the future as our house is far from done :)

Luke was very responsive to helping us with a quick turn around for our project for both drywall and trim. He and his team even put in overtime through the weekend to help us meet our deadlines and still kept the project within the budget we contracted with. I would recommend his business to anyone.

We have a 100 year old house that we decided to drywall versus repairing plaster. Luke and company did an amazing job. Price, timing, and overall professiionalism were great. I will definitely recommend him to the Virginia Highland community and use him again on my upcoming projects.

I am changing my original al review on 7/3/12. In a nut shell... I called Luke in November 2012 asking if he would fix the doors he Hung and I was treated with rudeness and pure sacrarium! He stated he would pencil me in for the next week and did not hear a word from him until Friday 2/15/13 to see if he could stop by that Monday. I did not call him back and did not follow up with him at all from nov-feb. He was that rude that I rather pay someone else to fix even though I paid him well over 10,000 for the original job. Horrible customer service
