I called for an estimate for vinyl planks. Salesman showed up on time. His price started at $11,000+, he reduced to $10,000+, then $7,000+, then discounted upon discount. However, he advised if you don't contract today, he would add $150 for gas for return visit. He also over calculated the square footage, and when questioned, immediately corrected total square footage. I also would think he'd follow up with the sale but have not heard from him since the initial visit. Bottom line, I called another reputable company and received a lesser estimate for much better product. 50 floors is easy 'shop at home'....but overpriced and careful with their square footage calculations!!!

You are better, cheaper, faster and safer off hiring your own installers. What 50 Floor does - orders materials and hires subcontractors to do the install. And the guy who sells you their services promises to be your personal project manager and be there for you all the way. Well in my case that was Lionel Batiste, who not only was unreachable all the way but also managed to omit important details on work orders causing delays in installation process. Given that, I was trying to get some discount - since the contract/promises were not met - no luck either. Need more arguments?!

Several days ago, I saw the 50 Floor commercial on television. Because the company was endorsed by Dale Cardwell, I assumed they would be a reliable company to install flooring at my residence. I called immediately and scheduled an appointment to get an estimation. My appointment was scheduled for today between 9am to 12 noon. They assured me that someone would contact me approximately 30 minutes prior to their arrival. I waited until after 12 noon. I called at 1230 to find out what happened. They stated that the person assigned to inspect the job and giving me an estimate had forgot about my appointment. They contacted him and he stated that he would be at my residence in an hour. Around 4:00 o'cock I still had not heard form anyone. I contacted 50 Floor again. This time, they could not give me an explanation. This is totally unacceptable. This is not the way to threat customers and stay in business.
My basement floored and ruin the carpet and padding. Every thing was removed. I wanted vinyl installed to replayed the carpet.

Have used 50Floor on three occasions and have been extremely pleased. Our salesman, Bob, was very knowledgeable and helped us select the right flooring (carpet and wood) for our home. I was impressed with how quickly the installation was scheduled (within one week) of our purchase. Follow-up from customer service was appreciated as well.

I have seen the commercial on tv and when I got ready to do my floors I contacted 50 Floor and they came out promptly and within the window I was told. Our salesman Brad came out and was very knowledgeable. We looked over the samples while he measured and got the price. Was a little higher than we thought it would be but we signed up. All I can say is my house looks awesome and they were done in a day. I will refer this Co. TY 50 floor

When I decided to replace the old carpet in my house, a close friend, after having a good experience with them, recommended I call "50 Floor." Making an appointment for my initial consultation wa just a matter of making a 5 minute phone call and an appointment was set for the next day. The sales person was on time and brought a ton of samples for my family to look over. Because of the professionalism of the sales person and because I felt the price was fair I decided to move forward with my purchase. The installation was scheduled about 10 days later and as promised was completed in one day, without a hitch. I am very happy and will be calling 50 Floor out again when I am ready to replace the old vinyl in my kitchen.

Called due to local radio ad. Salesman came, did not bring samples into house, promised an email quote that night. NO email. Two weeks later, left online request for follow through. Email rec'd from (I suppose) national customer service department asking: "Address and state?" Info provided. That was 10 days ago, again, no follow through. If quality is predicated on customer service, then I give this less than one star.

The salesmen outright lied to make the sale, then the installer came and said I should have never been told the things I was told. It ended up costing another $300 to do the job and it still looks horrible. Seams are peeling, no two seams are the same size.....and after 3 weeks of voicemails being left unanswered, I am told my customer care rep doesn't work for them anymore. I spent $1800 on what is basically crappy laminate in a 150sq ft area. Buyer beware!!

These people are great, all I did was schedule an appointment and they came right out for the estimate part of it. I had three quotes the first time and they were in the middle pricewise but it was the nicest carpet of the three. I used the 12 months no interest plan and the crew they sent out was great. They worked hard all day and finished 7 rooms by 5pm. I just moved the little things they did the rest and I had some heavy stuff. I had them come back another time and do my kitchen and one bathroom. It was just as easy. Good job guys, best time ever for me using a contractor.

Trust me (not Dale) and 95% of reviewers on other sites--if you contract with 50 Floor you will regret it. 1.They don't provide the products the contract for. I contracted for hardwood, from a reputable US manufacturer, in a specific color that matched my existing hardwood floor. I GOT veneer laminate, a completely different inferior brand, in a color that clashed with my floor. Not one detail matched the specifics on my contract. 2.Terrible customer service. All companies make mistakes. How they take care of those mistakes is important. 50 Floor did NOT make a mistake in my flooring. It is clear that their bait-and-switch tactics are INTENTIONAL. Upon complaining, I received not a single return call. I sent a demand letter--no response. I filed a small claims case in Clayton County, GA (50 Floor home office).Upon going to court, I was threatened by 50 Floor lawyer, Ben Windham, that he would SUE ME if I didn't drop the case. Windham had the case post-poned because he said I did not send a "GA Sunshine Law" letter which complied with GA law to notify them of my complaint. Look this up if you are having problems with 50 Floor & comply with each portion of he law when you write your demand letter. They then insisted on arbitration (BACK of contract)& refused to comply with arbitration! Judge found them in default and AWARDED DOUBLE PUNITIVE DAMAGES. FYI-Dale & Christina P were sent proof & judge's findings, yet continue to endorse this fraud.

I wish I could give these guys a good review but I'm giving them a one for their customer service. We had our whole house done and specifically asked the salesman what was the best floor for dogs (we have 5). He recommended laminate. I'm here to tell you, don't do it. He neglected to tell us that you can't get it wet and dogs do have accidents. You also never really feel like the floors are clean just using the laminate cleaner. We've had several areas where the laminate had started lifting up within the first month and called them back several times. They sent someone out who did nothing and then avoided us for the next 3 months. It was never resolved nor do I suspect it will be. The floors continue to get worse.

I set a time for an estimate online. They had all my information but they didn't come. They didn't contact me to tell me they weren't coming. Maybe they have so much business they don't need to worry about blowing people off.
